1. 2/5Cool app, but most likely spy too

   It’s cool to pay at the pump through the app, but I don’t like that I can’t enter an amount to be charged. I ride a motorcycle and oftentimes I just want to put a few bucks on gasoline. It would be nice if it asked me how much I wanted. My bike fills ip with about 13-16 bucks. 10 bucks is often more than enough for the week/weekend. So I wish that I could enter 10 bucks and for the pump to automatically stop at 10 bucks. I also prefer paying using debit rather than credit. With debit the money is withdrawn from your account right away. With credit it can be a while for the charge to post. I also dislike that you must use a phone number to create an account. The typical tell tell sign of a spyware app. There is no such thing as free, we all pay for using this app through the sales and sharing of your personal information. So make sure you turn off location services while not using the app. I even block it’s access to cellular data, and don’t allow it to refresh in the background. No need for any of that when not in use. I don’t even use my real name or provide any information that I feel not necessary and private. Other than that, it is a cool app. The savings are OK. Better than nothing. In case my review disappears, just like the last one, I’ll copy and paste it again and again.

2. 4/5App is great but a few things would make it better..

   The app has been great and it makes it way easier to pay at pump with PayPal/debit card… I also love that I’m able to link my PayPal account to pay that’s been great. Also being able to add my Safeway rewards phone number is cool as well!! The app is great and I definitely recommend it for sure… the one thing I think could make it better would be if you were able to choose the amount of points/cents off your gas.. like if you don’t want to use the full 10cents or 25cents off or whatever then you could choose to only use 5cents off each gallon at that purchase.. I think that would be awesome because there’s times when I go to get gas but I’m driving my boyfriends car and I don’t want to use all my points putting gas in his car and then not have many points when I go to get gas in my car .. that would just be super helpful and I would for sure give it 5 stars if they changed it so you were able to do that! But other then that I have been loving the app so far. 🙂

3. 1/5Useless with no help

   This app was great at first considering how easy it was to use and how much I drive, the rewards were great. Until over a period of time where 1 thing after another this app has become completely useless. At first, no where does it say it doesn’t apply, I randomly stopped getting gas reward points so I called and told them I haven’t been getting any gas rewards. They told me since E85 isn’t a chevron product it does not qualify for rewards. No where in the sign up fine print does it say E85 is not included but of course they’ll come up with an excuse. The 2nd thing now is my app isn’t letting me pay through the app. I’ve called and told them and no one can figure out why. I have more then enough credit and customer service always tells me the same thing. “Try another station or wait a couple days for your account to refresh” or something like that. My chevron card works no problem. But since I can’t pay through the app, now I don’t get the cash price. Lastly, here I am trying to find the customer service number again in order to call and ask about why I still cant pay through the app after a month of waiting for my account to “refresh” and the customer service number is no where to be found. No one wants to talk to duma$$ mobi. I want a real person that can look into my account to most likely tell me the same thing I’ve heard over the past month. Absolutely fed up with this app. No point in having an account at all anymore. They’ll just screw you over time since they hate giving out discounts and make up fairytales as to why you don’t get any anymore. It’s so pathetic

4. 1/5Poor Customer Service

   When I was a teenager, Chevron was one of my first credit cards. I manage the card very well and always paid the balance in full. I remember thinking to myself. I’ve been a cardholder for 20 years and never once have they personally thank me for my business. so I decided to close my Chevron account and just pay cash. Now I use the Chevron app again because I want to give them another chance. I have found that it’s very difficult at Chevron locations when there is no Wi-Fi I am unable to use my app. I Chevron should provide free Wi-Fi for their application users trying to pay at the pump otherwise they are stuck either a getting no gas or B using an alternative method of payment. I also want you to know recently filling up at a gas station across from Wekopa casino in fountain Hills Arizona the gas pumps were shut off while I was trying to fill my vehicle. I was in the midst of filling it and the attendant decided to close the gas station seven minutes early and I was stuck without gas. Unfortunately, lately I’ve had bad experiences or Chevron. I’ll continue to try using their services, but I feel they should pay a little bit more attention customer service and the needs of their customers going forward.    I honestly really love this app! I can choose my pump number, car was type of in getting one, saving number automatically input and all I have to do is get out, open my tank and press premium then fill my tank! It’s great. The location only when I’m using the app knows which Chevron I’m at so I don’t have to worry about it and, done. No getting out, fumbling with cards, typing my phone number in any longer; it’s perfect. Love it! Only downside I’ve noticed- if there’s one at all, is that occasionally (very occasionally), the app doesn’t recognize a particular chevron station. Not sure if this is because that particular station doesn’t participate in the app or what? The discounts on top of the rewards number still apply; I just have to get out and do a lot more manually vs how I typically do. This has only happened at two locations. Both were near my home. Both were small, out of the way; no car wash and no mini-mart so maybe it’s just that they don’t get enough business to participate with how the app works? Either way, no huge deal whatsoever as like I said, the discounts can all be used. Just takes a little longer. Other than that- awesome! I use it every time I’m getting gas!
