   I started using CASHWALK in 2022. It takes a good several months to build up a decent coin collection, but I have been able to successfully “purchase” several $5 gift cards in approximate succession when they were worth 2,000 coins. For a free app it’s really not a bad deal as long as you remember to cash in your coins accumulated each day before midnight, if not you lose any chance to redeem those coins and your step counter zeros out the next day at midnight. The developers then increased the number of coins from 2,000 to 3,000 early this year, which made it more difficult to cash out for rewards. Okay, not a huge deal. I finally made it to just over 6000 coins again and would have cashed out for two $5 gift cards, if only they didn’t raise the amount to 5,000 coins! Again it’s a free app, but it’s going to be difficult to stay invested if it’s next to impossible to reap any type of rewards. I also believe the number of steps it takes to earn 1 coin is more now than what it used to be, making it that much more difficult to accumulate coins. However, if you love to walk, and don’t mind the rate increase, the ads (you watch 3 a day to earn extra coins on top of what you earn walking), or the length of time it take to earn coins, you should try cashwalk out.

2. 1/5After weeks of requesting support…

   I downloaded the app about 4 months ago. During that time, extra coin rewards were never deposited into the account. That’s okay, I can survive. Then, there were never rewards available when I hit the necessary amount of steps. The developers were quick to respond on the App Store, but didn’t respond to customer support emails. Surprise, when rewards restocked and were available, my account was paused. The account was paused for weeks, while I waited a response, after sending several emails. Here it is, copied and pasted: “the service use from out of the service area might cause account suspension considered as an abusing action. If you made any visits or traveled to the non-service area with the CashWalk service, please send us any proof such as tickets or reservations under your mobile number or email address.” There was no elaboration on what “service area” is. I was pretty disturbed by the request for personal information like hotel stays, tickets, reservations. That is excessive and not a reasonable response as to why my account was randomly paused? Of course, despite asking for clarification, they never responded. So, I give up. Based on other reviews it seems that other users have had similar problems with support or an account for whatever reason never culminating in an actual reward. It probably gathers a ton of personal data, but finds random ways to pressure users into giving up on ever getting their rewards.

   I’ve been using the app for at least a year and at first it was great! The goals felt attainable and that includes gift card redemption. I reviewed the other reviews complaining about not being able to redeem rewards, and I had no issues (I still don’t). Fast forward to Dec 2023 & I was playing a game that was linked to this app and one day it stopped recording my progress. I was supposed to get over 4K in coins and I earned it by offering my gameplay data. Here we are in late March 2024 and I’ve only received 250 coins for not being able to get assistance from the gameplay provider. I’ve emailed while being very courteous since I also work in customer service just pleading for help and eventually they stopped responding. I asked Cashwalk for the email since the gameplay provider blocked my phones IP address somehow, and received crickets. So I dug a little deeper in the app and located the email for the gameplay provider. I’ve since included my screenshots and request for help with ways to either avoid this mishap in the future or just to pay up for the coins I earned properly, and still silence. If you only walk to receive coins, then it’s great, however, if you want to maximize your coin profits, be very cautious and careful. If Cashwalk is able to provide me with actual assistance, I’d be more than happy to update my review because in the past they’ve been helpful, but 3 months of begging for help in a kind manner, not cool guys.

4. 1/5Very Disappointing

   I have been using this app for quite a long time now. Almost 2 years now. When I first started using this app, all I needed was 2k points. You had to make sure you got your points every 100 steps but you also got more than you get now because it didn’t stop at 100 coins. Now you can get 150 tops per day unless you hit something big. So the price has increased. From 2,000 to 2500 to 3000, and now it’s a leap from 3000 to 5000. At a rate of 150 now you will need an entire month to not even be able to get 5k and get a 5$ card. The excuse is that they need to increase the amount of effort and time you spend on their app so they can offer more later on, yet XBOX was removed when the jump from 2500 to 3000 happened.(not to mention you can only get one gift card per 24 hours). So we can tell that isn’t true at all. I wouldn’t waste my time with this. Because they are telling us our time is worth less than it used to be and they decrease the value of our time, while banking on revenue from adds, and paying out less and less as it continues. I will cash out what I have and delete this app and move on and I’d recommend that everyone who sees this think twice about coming here and I’d recommend others do the same until they change. Kinda sad really, because I walk a lot and felt like this was a good way to feel my accomplishments of where I’ve come from. 🤷‍♂️ live and learn.

   I just started using this app because when I walk. I walk my dog I walk to the beach. I do a lot of walking and I normally rules within 10,000 steps or less or more depending on my day but I know how many steps I take because my phone keeps track of my steps also. So on September 7. My health app on my iPhone said I took 7417 steps. And what does your app say? I took for that day. it said I took 4705 steps. I just started using this app. On 3 September and what did your app say in the amount of steps that I took when I open the app? It said I took 20 steps, but my iPhone health app said I took 2609 steps that day. Now, on the 9th of September my iPhone said that I took 11,124 steps on that day, but your app says I took 6628 steps on 9 September 2023….. so can you tell me what’s going on because I’m being gypped OFF!!!! And, I want my account corrected and fixed, and all my points added to my account that I’m supposed to have. I knew something was wrong with your app. I will definitely not give any stars to this app since this is my first experience with you guys and it’s a bad one. Well, it looks like I have to give you guys one star and you guys don’t even deserve a star ⭐️ but I am FORCED TO CLICK ON HOW MANY STARS THAT I WANT TO GIVE YOU WHEN IT’S NOT APPROPRIATE… please look into this issue and correct my account because this is an issue and I wonder how many other accounts have been affected by this same issue
