1. 1/5Was great until it wasn’t

   This pharmacy was so amazing and we recommended them to anyone who would listen. But unfortunately, we’re telling people the opposite. The last order we made we had to wait for 2 days. My husband was without important meds until then because we couldn’t get the pharmacy changed any sooner than the supposed delivery time slot. It was supposed to be delivered no later than 3pm on Sunday. When 4:00pm rolled around and not even a message was sent, I had to call. The person told me that my order was forgotten at the pharmacy and the location is now closed so we won’t be able to do anything. They did nothing to try and make the delivery urgent or any easier for us. They said to either reschedule or come pick it up. We asked that if the issue wasn’t because we weren’t home, why can’t we be made a priority delivery for next day? They didn’t respond. They said someone would call me and help me out because none of the available delivery windows worked. It’s now Wednesday afternoon and I again had to be the one to reach out. They are having the same attitude and now that I’m asking that the prescription be transferred, they’re again not making it any easier on me. They want me to call the new pharmacy to have them call capsule to get it going. That’s about an hour+ of wait time! I’ve already sent them the phone number and address. We will never be using this service again and will tell everyone that will listen to never use them either.

2. 5/5I can’t live without it; I mean it

   It’s rare to be able to say you can’t live without something and mean it. But with this service, it’s true. Or, if I had to live without it, my life would be infinitely more difficult. And it was, before this service. That’s partly because the service is so good and partly because the only alternatives are so horrible. It’s also rare for something with that much advertising to be good. I saw ads for this everywhere in NY. The subway, on top of cabs, you name it. I was a little hesitant to try it because I feared that it might be pricier than getting drugs directly from insurance (never do that. I learned my lesson.) I tried it, carefully tracking the drug price on each. I’ve never seen something with such a stark difference in quality. And again, I mean that. It’s rare to see 2 services that purport to do the same thing with differences that stark. (I’ve since learned why, which is that Capsule makes money by getting you drugs and that insurances make money by delaying and denying you drugs. That’s not hyperbole. It’s the business model.)

3. 5/5Never going back to another pharmacy

   I have been on the same medicine for ADHD for over a decade, but it seems I can never go a single month without delays in getting it filled. There’s always excuses. When I moved to New York, it was no different. I tried Duane Reade — they claimed they didn’t have it in stock, and said it would be in store tomorrow. Lo and behold, it wasn’t. I had to go without my medicine for almost a WEEK before it finally got there. The next month, same issue. So, I tried Rite Aid. They tried to charge me almost $200 for my medicine that is normally free, and also said it would take a few days to arrive. I tried CVS. They said it’d be free, but same thing — they wouldn’t have it for several days. I was frustrated with the constant incompetency: this is one of the most commonly prescribed medicines in the country, so why does no one carry it? Why is there always an issue? My nurse practitioner recommended Capsule to me. I downloaded the app on a Tuesday morning, and had my medicine in hand by 6 pm the same day. No several day delays. No $200 charges. $0 medicine, $0 delivery. I had a question about my insurance and my insurance company never responded when I ask, and when I told that to Capsule, they went the extra mile and contacted my insurance company for me and then told me the answer. I never had to do any of the work. I have never been so pleased with a service. You can text them any question, and they will respond quickly. I’ve now had my medicine delivered twice to me and there have been no delays at all — same day delivery, and they let you choose what time you want it. If you’re thinking about switching to capsule, do it. I wish this service was available in the rest of the US, because it truly is great.

4. 5/5Am I Dreaming????

   I’m still not sure if this is a dream or not because I’m absolutely blown away. I’ve been taking a certain medication that comes with a stigma. A heavy one that makes “Working Professionals” judge and treat someone like they’re convicted felons/criminals/stupid, and then make it as tough or impossible to get your prescription. You can’t even call a pharmacy and ask if they carry this medication because they don’t want those kinds of patients at the pharmacy. I’ve been denied refills that were legit and then told by a pharmacist who now thinks they’re a Dr try and tell me what I need to do and then start loudly talking about my private medical business in front of 10+ customers blatantly violating my HIPAA Rights a laws. I’ve got stories for days. Then I heard about Capsule. I called BS….. that is until I was holding this medication in my hands that was delivered…..for free and half as much as Walgreens, CVS, Costco, etc charged. For the first time in 20yrs I was treated like a real human being and with respect. I’m still completely floored this happened. The text support is freaking amazing. Real people sending real-time reply’s who care and are knowledgeable about every aspect of the company and can help you with anything. Capsule you have gained a new Member for life and I will never, ever, ever go to another pharmacy like Walgreens, CVS, or anything close to one…….Unless this is really a dream and then I’m really F!?ked. 5. 5/5Overall convenient and includes stickers

   We did have an issue where prescriptions were marked delivered when they had not been and it was a bit frustrating having to wait to get it resolved. I was really worried bc the meds were controlled substances and I knew it would be hard to get a new prescription for them. HOWEVER, I had a call from the pharmacist the next day, which was a Sunday and she was very apologetic and promised me she would contact my doctor and insurance to have the prescriptions transferred to Walgreens. There was no need because what looked like my neighbor dropped them off so they must have accidentally been delivered to the wrong house. That happens a lot with Uber eats and door dash so really it’s not that out of the realm of possibilities. I would only suggest making sure you give yourself a few days just in case there is an issue so you don’t go without your medication. These things can happen, I’ve often received packages that weren’t mine. Despite this little hiccup, I still rated them a 5 star because the issue was resolved within 24 hours and they included stickers in the bag which my 2 year old loved!!
