1. 5/5Easiest Meds Ever!!!

   I am not joking when I say this is the coolest and most efficient delivery app EVER. I’ve had issues with pharmacies in the past where my prescriptions were delayed when I was told they were ready, they had to do long back and forths with my doctor, my copays were insane, and I sometimes had to go DAYS without necessary medication. And, as I discovered during COVID-19 lockdowns, my pharmacies would not deliver my meds because they’re all some level of controlled substances. Capsule was the easiest thing I’ve ever done. After I filled out my info and transferred my current prescriptions, almost all of them were ready in two days. My copay estimates were maybe 25% of what I usually pay. I added them to my cart, entered my address, and checked out, where I picked a specific delivery window when I would be available. The delivery driver was right on time and all I had to do was sign for the package. My meds were all there, all correct, delivered in a timely manner, and the topical gel I require for a chronic condition was even in a just slightly larger tube to last me a bit longer. I received texted updates and confirmations the whole way. This has to be a life saver for people who can’t physically get out to pharmacies! Coolest and easiest thing I’ve ever done. I’m highly satisfied so far. In fact, this is one of the few reviews I’ve ever written, and definitely the longest and most positive one. If you are on the fence and considering using Capsule, just try it!! It’s so awesome

2. 5/5Am I Dreaming????

   I’m still not sure if this is a dream or not because I’m absolutely blown away. I’ve been taking a certain medication that comes with a stigma. A heavy one that makes “Working Professionals” judge and treat someone like they’re convicted felons/criminals/stupid, and then make it as tough or impossible to get your prescription. You can’t even call a pharmacy and ask if they carry this medication because they don’t want those kinds of patients at the pharmacy. I’ve been denied refills that were legit and then told by a pharmacist who now thinks they’re a Dr try and tell me what I need to do and then start loudly talking about my private medical business in front of 10+ customers blatantly violating my HIPAA Rights a laws. I’ve got stories for days. Then I heard about Capsule. I called BS….. that is until I was holding this medication in my hands that was delivered…..for free and half as much as Walgreens, CVS, Costco, etc charged. For the first time in 20yrs I was treated like a real human being and with respect. I’m still completely floored this happened. The text support is freaking amazing. Real people sending real-time reply’s who care and are knowledgeable about every aspect of the company and can help you with anything. Capsule you have gained a new Member for life and I will never, ever, ever go to another pharmacy like Walgreens, CVS, or anything close to one…….Unless this is really a dream and then I’m really F!?ked. 3. 5/5Overall convenient and includes stickers

   We did have an issue where prescriptions were marked delivered when they had not been and it was a bit frustrating having to wait to get it resolved. I was really worried bc the meds were controlled substances and I knew it would be hard to get a new prescription for them. HOWEVER, I had a call from the pharmacist the next day, which was a Sunday and she was very apologetic and promised me she would contact my doctor and insurance to have the prescriptions transferred to Walgreens. There was no need because what looked like my neighbor dropped them off so they must have accidentally been delivered to the wrong house. That happens a lot with Uber eats and door dash so really it’s not that out of the realm of possibilities. I would only suggest making sure you give yourself a few days just in case there is an issue so you don’t go without your medication. These things can happen, I’ve often received packages that weren’t mine. Despite this little hiccup, I still rated them a 5 star because the issue was resolved within 24 hours and they included stickers in the bag which my 2 year old loved!!

4. 1/5Was great until it wasn’t

   This pharmacy was so amazing and we recommended them to anyone who would listen. But unfortunately, we’re telling people the opposite. The last order we made we had to wait for 2 days. My husband was without important meds until then because we couldn’t get the pharmacy changed any sooner than the supposed delivery time slot. It was supposed to be delivered no later than 3pm on Sunday. When 4:00pm rolled around and not even a message was sent, I had to call. The person told me that my order was forgotten at the pharmacy and the location is now closed so we won’t be able to do anything. They did nothing to try and make the delivery urgent or any easier for us. They said to either reschedule or come pick it up. We asked that if the issue wasn’t because we weren’t home, why can’t we be made a priority delivery for next day? They didn’t respond. They said someone would call me and help me out because none of the available delivery windows worked. It’s now Wednesday afternoon and I again had to be the one to reach out. They are having the same attitude and now that I’m asking that the prescription be transferred, they’re again not making it any easier on me. They want me to call the new pharmacy to have them call capsule to get it going. That’s about an hour+ of wait time! I’ve already sent them the phone number and address. We will never be using this service again and will tell everyone that will listen to never use them either.

   Hear great things about the service, but the app is nearly unusable. Feels like it was a React Native thing they built because it could save money cross platform, but at the expense of user experience. Can’t generate a password on signup because it doesn’t comply with iOS guidelines, doesn’t play well with text input and scrolling because it’s a hacky web view interface, if you swipe to a different app to, say, look up the address of your pharmacy, and the app goes to a black screen, then crashes, then you start over (don’t forget that address or prescription name, or you’re starting all over again), couldn’t find a way to change my insecure password (for an account that contains my medical information) etc. I try to contact customer service and it says: update your app first. I had just installed it. I go to the App Store, confirm I’m on latest version, still: update your app first. Dead end loop, Then, “you can always text us!” Try to do that; there’s a dumb programming error that doesn’t actually input a valid number (they hard-coded in spaces into the input, which adds %20 into the number, which obvious isn’t a phone number that will result in a text being delivered), so you just get a message failed to send error if you try to text them. So no actual customer service in the app. Baffling for a company that 1) is this well funded, and 2) wants you to trust they didn’t screw up their HIPPA compliance on the backend that could leak your medical information, because judging by their front end prowess I want to turn and run as fast as I can.
