   Listen, I like buyee, I want to see them do well, and they do, for the most part, but their mobile app is just embarrassing. The pages load extremely slowly, I get logged out and have to manually type my email and password nearly everytime I close the app, and frequently the app crashes. The web browser version has none of these problems (minus complaint 2, but it is much quicker to login on with a full physical keyboard and mouse than a mobile keyboard), and it’s not viable for a good mobile app. I hope they do a complete redesign in the near future, because it feels like a web browser port, than a dedicated mobile app. When it does work though, it’s really handy to have available, it follows a similar UI to the web browser version so I’m able to easily find what I’m looking for.

   As a collector of Japanese figures and games, this is always my go to for bidding and buying in general for products in Japan. They give you a broad range of delivery options, and they always delivered with care. I’ve messaged the customer service over simple questions or explanations, and they are always kind and fast at responding. My only problem is that they don’t have an auto translate (that I know of), which is fine, with a quick google search you’ll get the words you are looking for, and they give you a way of saving the specific word just in case you don’t find biddings for it and want to search it up later on the line.

3. 5/5AWESOME App (no they didn’t pay me to say this XD)

   I was unsure of using the app at first because it looked a little sketchy but I tried my hand at a few auctions and they do an amazing job!! It definitely takes a moment to understand the layout and time difference for auction timings but once I understood it was simple. Hats off to Buyee staff! My items arrived quickly and in exceptional packaging and quality so I was sure they took care in handling my items. My only qualms are about some of their prohibited items. I personally don’t understand why jewelry and coins are prohibited. Otherwise I am perfectly happy with the service and care of Buyee handlers and service. Would 10/10 recommend!!!

4. 1/5Worst Customer Service

   App is not that user friendly. When you’re searching for items and going through your saved list, you have to keep re-scrolling through your items to find it. You can find good deals, if you really search. It’s hard to find items, unless you know how to type in their language, even if you choose the auto translate. Most importantly, 1. it is very hard to do returns, even if the description of the items do not match the pictures AND 2. I got a FAKE item from one of the sellers, which I did not know that the item was fake. When I found out about it (through online authentication), I emailed customer service and they said that it is no longer within the timeframe of “returns” and it is not their responsibility if it is fake. (I chose this Japan website because I thought that the country is strict with selling fakes, but I guess that is not the case with this website. They were very hands off when I told them that a seller sold me a fake item in their site.) Honestly, I bought hundreds of items in the span of 6 months from this site, but I can no longer trust the site. I am planning to ship the rest of the items in their warehouse that I already paid for and then deleting the app. Shipping is not cheap, so make sure you try to max that out with your items if you want to use it. It is a good app to find items, which is why I think it deserves that 1 star (eventhough I cant really give them a no star), but with the possibility of getting fake items without getting the backup from their site and not accepting returns even if the items clearly do not match the description, the risk is too much. Just be aware! Good luck!

5. 1/5Horrible and cheap proxy

   1. Buyee is using this new shipping service called “Speedex” let me tell you that this service had my package out for delivery for 3 days then I recheck my phone and I see that the package that was out for delivery was shipped to Illinois, why is my package that claimed to be out for delivery for 3 days suddenly in Illinois??? And I still haven’t gotten an update it’s genuinely lost, and I paid $200 for shipping services and you give me the worst shipping service ever, to be honest I won’t be surprised if they lose my $500 order, 2. I wasn’t aware of the shipping fees I had to pay to get the item to the storage, one of the items shipping cost was too big so I wanted to dispose it right? They made me pay $16 to CANCEL my order, would’ve been nice if I paid for it from the start or something 3. I lost a bid cause the bid system was broken, please tell me why the bid time is like two minutes behind the actual bidding time? I had lost a bid because buyer’s timing system wasn’t correct 4. I bought the protective packaging that you could buy for $10 to apparently protect your packages, when my packages arrived they were torn apart and the bubble wrap was really thin and was only one layer 5. I had to pay to literally see pictures of my items, there are many other jp proxies that will do this for free 6. Don’t buy from buyee, there are many other jp proxies that won’t scam you out of your money
