   I am a new customer. I was told that I put in the wrong payment information but I know I didn’t and customer service went out of there way to give no solutions but more or less threatened me. They made it very clear that the computer was glitched continuously went down. They went so far as to inform me that I must of used my debit card instead of my checking information which made no sense since the routing info was correct but the checking info was so off that I even tried my best and hardest to very calmly explain that I felt that the glitch may have tripped my payment info but they refused to hear any of it and told me my account is frozen until paid off and than I must wait several weeks after that before I am entitled to to use it again. So until than my CREDIT WILL BE DESTROYED BY AMEX TO THERE DESIRE BECAUSE OF THERE COMPUTER GLITCH AND ZERO ASSISTANCE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to figure out on my own how to after several days get back into my locked out account finally update the payment info and than pay the account off as quickly as possible. I will keep the account but under the (Freedom Act) I request a complete history print out of my payment info from Aerospace when I opened the account just here back in November 2023. Should you deny this request please let me know immediately. Please let me know as to exactly what day I may use credit card again officially. Thank you very much for any and assistance in this matter.

2. 5/5Extremely helpful app, but has some Face ID Issues

   This app is insanely helpful!!!! Before I had to go to two separate Comenity/bread financial websites to pay My Sally beauty/Cosmo prof card and my Ulta beauty card. Now I can just log into the app and select what account I want to look at or make a payment on. The only issue I’m having is my Face ID will constantly be removed from my accounts. If I log into my Sally’s portal I’ll have to reset my Face ID and then it will be fine. But if I try to log into my Ulta account after doing that I have to reset my Face ID again for the Ulta portal, then when I try to go back to the Sally’s portal it says my face isn’t recognized and I have to do a Face ID reset again. Not a huge deal, but is a little bit of a pain when I’m in a rush and don’t want to dig for my passwords.

3. 1/5What’s the purpose?

   I thought downloading this app and verifying myself would get me access to all the accounts I have that have switched to Comenity. But I found that I still had to add each account manually, by either finding my login information or resetting passwords (which I couldn’t do because I don’t have access to my account numbers since it has all been hidden). So it’s no different than having the links for the cards in my bill paying page (how I had been handling it) and using my saved passwords in my password app. If I could verify myself once to Bread and it would TELL ME what cards I have with them, and grant me access to them all with single sign on, then this app would be of use. Companies I use switched to Comenity but if I didn’t owe money when they sent out the notice, I didn’t get told. I also detest the fact that this company charges me $2.99 for the privilege of getting a bill from them each month. How does that make any sense? Not everyone is 100% digital yet and it sure is a slap in the face to be charged $2.99 to get a bill. And no, I didn’t know that signing up because I have had my cards a long time, so it’s irritating. And then if you miss a due date (because you don’t get a bill) you get charged $35 for that!

4. 4/5Only Needs iPad / Universal App Support!

   Their main product, the Bread Cash Back AMEX, is great and I like how they’re integrating in additional products such as their AAA Visa Signature Card. The technology is really not bad and pretty consistent, which is a lot more than you could say for even some of the largest credit card issuers. Overall, I’ve been very happy with EVERY product that I’ve tried from Bread Financial and not just their credit cards, but also their High Yield Savings Account (HYSA) too. It would be convenient if they had one app for both credit cards and savings, but that’s not too big of a deal. That said, the ONLY thing that keeps me from giving a full five stars to this awesome company is that I use my iPad far more than my iPhone, many people do, so I’m stuck having to login via the web to pay and manage my accounts! In an age where nearly every app is Universal, I truly cannot understand how iPad support was overlooked. Bread seems to be on top of everything, but this is the exception. If they add functional iPad support, I’d be happy to upgrade my rating!

   I took a bread split pay loan for $920 and they didn’t send the money to the retailer I was using. I contacted the store and they told me it wasn’t in their system so I contacted bread customer support and they couldn’t help me. So I basically am out of $920. I did everything in my power to find a solution with emails and phone calls with absolutely no help from them. They pretty much told me to figure it out myself. That shouldn’t be up to me to do. I’ve used bread multiple times but this past time has been very infuriating. I was robbed by them and I can’t do anything about it. I went ahead and paid it off all at once to see if it would trigger something in their system and see that they never sent it to academy but it didn’t. Anyways hope everyone sees this and decides not to use them. I hate to be this person but I feel violated in a way knowing I’ll never see my money again and how they took it. If someone higher up can contact me and help me sort this out I’ll delete this review if it has that option. But like I said I’ve done everything in my power to figure it out myself with no help and leaving reviews about my experience is my last resort before I do more research to see how I can take legal action.

   Comenity Bank/Bread Financial is unhelpful and does not give customer service representatives the ability to help you. I got charged 30 dollars for trying to make a payment with a SAVINGS account instead of a CHECKING account (not even a late fee). The app doesn't tell you about bank issues or flag them before you save them. I think this is the worst customer service I've received from any company, which is pretty impressive. Do not bank with them. They have tons of complaints with the BBB.

   nothing is right on the app or their website. it says I owe nothing which is wrong. won't let me pay it won't let me do anything other then look at a zero balance. what a pathtic joke. they even told me its my fault. hahahah. Just pathetic

   updates all the time, I never know if it is a hacker or the bank asking for my details, yet again and locking me out of my account. DO NOT recommend using this app or bank for credit cards. too many options to deal with these issues every month when all I want to do is review my purchases and pay the account balance!! To reply, I got so frustrated trying to login to make sure I do not have a balance I called and just uninstalled the app. I could no longer login so I removed it.
