5/5Outstanding support
Just downloaded the app yesterday, so I am still learning my way around. However, I have already had the opportunity to see that support is outstanding. Shortly after downloading the app yesterday, a Sunday, I submitted a Facebook Messenger post asking if there were plans to make the app available for Apple Watch. Within 30 minutes I received response in the affirmative. Later in the day I had a problem with the app crashing on my iPad Mini. I submitted a support “ticket”. Literally a minute later. I received an email from the developer thanking me for reporting the issue. I was told that a fix would be released “later this week”. An update was released today. The update solved my issue.

5/5Newest Update fail/Upgrade
Edit: with the newest update, they have fixed the issue! YAY!! 😁 I have been using the app for quite some time now and love its simplicity and functionality. Now, with this newest update, it is MAKING me sync with Apple Health even though I have tried to “skip” this option. I do not wish to sync this app with anything else. But it won’t let me use it until I do. ☹️👎🏼👎🏼

4/5Good Find
Great app, and it syncs with Apple Health, which is helpful. I downloaded and tried a few before I settled on this one. I’m not using an insulin pump right now, so it becomes a challenge to keep up with injection times, and this app helps keep things organized. There are still a lot of features I haven’t used, but I like the ones that are available without the subscription, and can only imagine the help it would be if I paid. My only qualm is that I can only enter “units” of insulin as a whole number, which isn’t accurate when I’m using 1.5 units for example.

3/5I’m deleting the app because after buying subscription days and sometimes months of data disappear
When I downloaded the free app I was delighted with out it kept track of my A1 c so I purchased the app and within a month all of the data from over 4 months disappeared and after reporting it to them I got back that this has never happened before So I sent them screenshots of days of info after I re imputed the lost data and it disappeared again I have given up. I will be deleting the app and canceling my subscription I think the free app is fantastic and it worked great for me for over 5 months until I upgraded

5/5Best diabetes app I have used
I have tried out the number of glucose monitoring apps in the past. This one is very intuitive and easy to use. All of the features are easy to navigate, and the graphs/data representation are clear. Best of all, I am not linked to a particular brand of monitor to store all of my data. Furthermore, the analytics are well designed and help me adjust my lifestyle as needed.

Update 4.1: We’ve added Smart Reminders to help you set up daily tasks—like measuring a parameter, taking medication on time, or logging meals. These reminders are now intelligent: when you log the related data, the task automatically checks itself off. Pretty cool, right? We’ve also included a few highly requested features: • GKI (Glucose–Ketone Index) for users who rely on this metric • A1C in mmol/L for international users outside the US and Canada • Vietnamese and Swedish localizations, plus major improvements to all translations • BMI scale added to the profile • A fix for an issue where the latest readings at the bottom of the home screen were not refreshing

Happy New Year! We’re kicking off the year with a major update we think you’ll love. In this release of Glucobyte, we’ve refreshed the app’s design and overall experience using Apple’s Liquid Glass styling and adaptive fonts, making everything feel more modern and intuitive. We’ve also made significant improvements to insights and charts. You can now view averages over time, as well as averages grouped by meal type, and easily switch to raw day-by-day data when you need more detail. The carbs vs. insulin vs. glucose analysis chart has been enhanced for clearer comparisons and better insights. Insulin tracking has received major upgrades too. You can now see total insulin consumed over a selected period to help with planning and supply management. Insulin statistics are also averaged and grouped by meal type and logged days, giving you a clearer picture of your dosing patterns. We’ve also added support for decimal insulin entries for more precise logging. In addition, we’ve made the My Readings home chart more responsive, fixed several bugs that could cause crashes, and introduced smart unit selection that automatically adapts based on your country. Finally, we’ve redesigned the More section with a cleaner, better-organized layout, making it easier to find your settings and preferences. As always, thank you for using Glucobyte—we’re excited to keep improving it with you!
