   Found this app a couple of weeks ago on the poshmark and depop subreddits. Forgot about it until today and just signed up. It's very creative and a new take on online shopping, which I love. It mimics the experience of thrifting (especially in the bins!) quite well. The posting process is much easier and faster than other apps and the UI is wayyy beyond depop, posh and ebay. My only suggestion would be the ability to upload multiple photos at once and to rotate them in app! Otherwise, love it and would absolutely recommend.

2. 3/5Very good start up idea needs some tuning though

   I saw a story time on TikTok an watched the whole thing (8 minutes long). At the end he tied this app into the story so I decided to check it out. It feels an works like a very well put together but I feel as though the “bins” themselves are a little weak. With it being my first time using the app maybe it just hasn’t found my presences yet. But as an 18 yr old male college student I don’t feel it’s that hard. I think there should be a spot to put what size clothes you are so you can see more of those. Secondly, when first logging on it’s very important to capture the customers attention, so I suggest you put up 3 or 4 general styles for them to choose from. Like I said this was my first time so if these options are already available than redact what I said but those are my thoughts.

   I haven’t made a purchase from Bins yet, but I already love the concept. It feels just like real thrifting, except online — digging through unique finds, discovering random gems, and getting that same treasure-hunt feeling without having to leave the house. The setup is easy to browse, the items refresh often, and the whole vibe gives you that authentic thrift-store experience. I’m excited to make my first purchase soon, but so far the platform itself is fun, creative, and definitely worth checking out if you love thrifting.

4. 3/5Fun but repetitive

   Love the idea for this app and the layout. But two major flaws with the algorithm stop me from really using the app. First, the products are repetitive. I’ll pass on a bin and about half of the same items from my last bin will show up again on the next ones. Not sure if it’s an inventory or algorithm problem but it defeats the purpose. Also, when I do find something I like, a lot of the time the product will have a note that says “seller isn’t shipping right now”. My note for developers would be that if a seller can’t sell, that item needs to be removed from the bins. The app is a great idea, I just wish these weren’t consistent issues

5. 5/5best thrifting app out there

   every morning i eagerly await the notification: your new daily bins are ready! the tiny confetti emojis spark enough dopamine to kickstart my entire day. i don’t even need caffeine anymore. i’m bouncing off the walls in anticipation of what i might find in the bins that day. i finally open the app and get to my first bin. an incredible sensory experience. with each swipe the haptic reaches my fingertips, akin to the tactile experience of digging through piles of clothes in the goodwill bins with your old high school friends when you’re back home from college on winter break. i can almost feel the middle school girl breathing down my back trying to get to the brandy crop top in the bin im looking in. i’ll never use another thrifting app again. bins i love you.
