   We've been BestBuy customers for years and a TV we purchased stopped working after about 6-8 mos. We had a warranty on the TV so we took it back to BestBuy to see if it could get repaired or a refund, they kept TV for over a month then told us that it couldn't be fixed so we would get store credit. I'm like ok you could have given me back my cash but cool I'll take store credit. Well we tried to go use card and get an XBox card for my son and they said they couldn't allow it. I was wondering why and they told me that you can't buy any type of Cards with Store Credit. I said it's not a gift card though it's a points card, and it's MY STORE CREDIT so I should be able to buy what I want. They informed me that it's a policy now and they can let me get anything else in store except any type of card. Very disappointed in BestBuy and I will try to limit my purchases from here out!! 2. 1/5HUGE glitch in BB credit card part of app

   The regular shopping part of the app is fine, but there is a HUGE glitch in the credit card account part of the app! If you have the BB credit card and pay through the app, be REALLY CAREFUL not to tap on the ‘make a payment’ part UNLESS YOU REALLY PLAN TO PAY RIGHT THEN!! I accidentally tapped on that, and backed out because I wasn’t making a payment, and it made a payment at the highest one of the a available options WITHOUT ME EVER CLICKING ON THE “authorize” BUTTON!!! I am now out $2500 AT CHRISTMAS, overdrawn in my bank account, and have to wait WEEKS for the dispute process to complete to get this UNAUTHORIZED payment refunded!! I have no money to pay my rent or other bills because of this glitch. I am appalled at the shoddy programming that would allow this to happen and am wondering how many other people have had their money stolen by this glitch. It is horrifying that this is possible, and there is no way to get the charge immediately refunded because the app says it was authorized! Be careful, everyone!! EDIT: I have reported this to Apple as a scam or fraud because no credit card app should ever be charging someone without their authorization. That is theft, and I will start escalating if there is no response regarding correcting this glitch.

   I added this app mostly for use with my BB credit card and to be able to quickly access my past purchases, their warranty and service/support features. Today, however, I opened the app to search for receivers. Initially, upon opening the app, it highlighted their OUTLET section, so I decided to look there. After opening the OUTLET page, I was looking for a search box to select receivers only; but wait…there is NO search box in the OUTLET SECTION! Ok, so I go to HOME AUDIO & SPEAKERS…now I want to search specifically for receivers - still NO search box. Ok, then I go to FILTER & SORT…select CATEGORY dropdown menu, only to find 3 options HOME AUDIO ACCESSORIES OUTLET, HOME AUDIO OUTLET, and PORTABLE AUDIO OUTLET…not what I expected (amps, speakers, input components, receivers, etc). Ok so now I am completely baffled. There are 894 items on at least 50 pages to sort through manually to find receivers. Then I go back to the main OUTLET PAGE and slide the bar to show items available in my local store only. Once on that page, it has the same top drop down menus so I go to FILTER & SORT again and select CATEGORY. What do you know…it now gives me the options the global outlet page should have: cd players & turntables, speakers, receivers & amplifiers! Great…hey BB…why can’t I filter ALL stores for receivers???! Ok, finally get to filter down to brands and number of output channels, and open one of the results and I select one of the videos from its photos. In the middle of playing one of the videos, I receive a phone call and the screen switches to the phone app. When the call is done (less than a minute later) I go back to the BB app and it kicked me not just out of the video, but out of the receiver page, back further all the way to the BB home page before I selected OUTLET! What a complete and total waste of time. Off to Amaz I go, too bad BB! 👎😡

4. 3/5Slower Than Competitors Apps and Lacking Search Filters

   Would like to see the app not act so slow in general. Like, network and environmental issues aside- if you’re connected on solid WiFi or cellular ABs look for an item, the results and navigation are not great. The other big elephant in the room is the marketplace. It would be nice to have a simple filter to switch between the two- combining them is an awful idea. Final issue is the app rollback they did. Very happy to see the AI stuff gone, since no one asked for it and that was a disaster. They also removed the fixed location pickup. It was just working a few months ago- where in-store pickup today would lock-in your closest store, but now it’s not there anymore. It just keeps resetting, you have to click the location, then deselect all of them. The bigger issue is the app (like the whole thing) is just slow and clunky. I understand it has great reviews, but it’s very obvious that it’s so absurdly clunky compared to the competition. This is with a 17 Pro Max and S24 Ultra.

5. 5/5Unhappy with Customer Service

   I placed an order and realized that they were sending to the wrong address. I immediately contacted them and I was assured that the address was corrected. It was not and the order was delivered to wrong address. I call again and they assure me that they will be sending a replacement. Never happened. Called AGAIN and was told that a manager would contact me. You guessed it!! Never happened. So, I called for the fourth time and was told that they were going to refund my money. I explained that I have been waiting on this item and now I will not have it for another week or so. The lady explained that there was nothing they could do and insinuated that it was my fault for it going to the wrong address. I’m saddened that this is how they treat a long standing customer. Sadly, I think it is time for me to look for a new supplier of my electronics.
