I gave 4 stars but the app really deserves 4 1/2 stars. I’ve been looking for a weather app like this for a long time. The data is always accurate because it’s straight from the most reliable source and the app design and layout are perfect. The only thing that’s missing are push notifications for severe weather but the app design is so great that push notifications aren’t a big deal. I would like to see one change by the developer. I think the green color looks awful. If you can add an option in the settings for me to change that color I’ll update my review to 5 stars. Great job on the app!

5/5My Go-To Weather Source
This app gives you complete weather information for any location covered by NOAA's NWS, and presents it efficiently. It doesn't have moving backgrounds, pretty pictures, or other useless eye candy. It DOES, however, report all the weather data most folks would ever want. Temp, wind speed and direction, cloud cover? Check. Satellite loop? Check. Forecast explanation so you can learn what the forecasting meteorologist was thinking? Check. Ability to track a virtually unlimited number of locations? Check. And more. I've been using this app for years, and never regretted buying it.

5/5Very Useful and Well Designed
This app is the most useful one that I have seen. It is the most complete and, I feel, the best designed way to check weather information. I’m tired of the dumbed down world of cute icons and basic information that tells me little to nothing. As with the rest of the folks that have been scouring the App Store for the “right” weather app, this one quickly caught my attention. I have done searches for Weather apps, off and on, for a few years but never saw this one. The developer obviously knows the importance of useful weather information.

5/5Surprisingly good depiction of NWS info
Very refreshing app amongst a flood of apps with minimal or no value. Plenty of mediocre WX apps pass along NWS products without any increase value or added communication. This app, however, allowed for much easier access to NWS products and presents value-added info, especially on iOS devices (even easier than the clicks necessary to navigate data on a windows platform, although only has a subset of the NWS products — but a subset that I turn to for quick review throughout the day). Definitely worth looking at!

5/5The best weather app
AWeather is the best weather app I’ve tried on the App Store. I appreciate that it pulls its weather information from the NWS and NOAA, and displays everything in a logical, easy to digest format. The recent update made the UI look even better, which is impressive given that it already looked great. It’s surprisingly polished and impressive for a free app, but I decided to pay the low price for the full version to support the developer. Highly recommend!

          "body": "I gave 4 stars but the app really deserves 4 1/2 stars. I’ve been looking for a weather app like this for a long time. The data is always accurate because it’s straight from the most reliable source and the app design and layout are perfect. The only thing that’s missing are push notifications for severe weather but the app design is so great that push notifications aren’t a big deal. I would like to see one change by the developer. I think the green color looks awful. If you can add an option in the settings for me to change that color I’ll update my review to 5 stars. Great job on the app!",

          "body": "This app gives you complete weather information for any location covered by NOAA's NWS, and presents it efficiently. It doesn't have moving backgrounds, pretty pictures, or other useless eye candy. It DOES, however, report all the weather data most folks would ever want. Temp, wind speed and direction, cloud cover? Check. Satellite loop? Check. Forecast explanation so you can learn what the forecasting meteorologist was thinking? Check. Ability to track a virtually unlimited number of locations? Check. And more. I've been using this app for years, and never regretted buying it.",

          "body": "Very refreshing app amongst a flood of apps with minimal or no value. Plenty of mediocre WX apps pass along NWS products without any increase value or added communication. This app, however, allowed for much easier access to NWS products and presents value-added info, especially on iOS devices (even easier than the clicks necessary to navigate data on a windows platform, although only has a subset of the NWS products — but a subset that I turn to for quick review throughout the day). Definitely worth looking at!",
