  1. 5/5AMAZING INTERFACE

If you want to understand where your time actually goes in a beautiful, clean way, buy this app now. I have scoured the App Store for an App like this and haven't been able to find another one with as good a design. It's incredibly easy to log time, simply tap the category and it begins logging then tap it again to finish the log. It is very simple to use and it is very intuitive to learn. The only thing I wish is that it would allow you to order your activities on the first tab screen. Please include this feature for the next update and this App will be unstoppable! Keep up the great work. ***Follow up: Figured out how to sort the order (tap shuffle symbol on the settings tab), thank you so much for including this before I thought of it!!

  2. 4/5Really wish export would be improved

Logging is great with this app. It’s exporting the data that I find to be a big pain. The only useful way to get the data I’ve found it going through clunky steps of setting a date range (how will I recall when things started and stopped? Why not a default all time, or 1 month, 1 year?) and then the different tiny icons all result in different outputs. An image is the first choice which seems almost always a useless one, and then to get the information as a spreadsheet you have to save it to the Files app. It’s then dropped in there with a file name autogenerated that it difficult to locate and then additionally will need to locate that and move it somewhere. Sorry for the terribly non-elegant review here, but just expressing how frustrating this aspect of the paid app is! Why not just export a task - then give options for where it should go of my choosing? I think managing the tasks could also be a little more elegant, but one thing at a time!

  3. 5/5Title: A Game-Changing App for Power Users and Beginners Alike

I’ve been a dedicated calendar user for over 30 years—even back in the days of syncing with cables, long before iCloud. I rely heavily on my calendar to stay organized and keep track of everything important, but there was always one key thing missing: the ability to quickly count, filter, or track how often and how long I’ve done specific activities. I used to manually pull up past events and count them one by one just to answer questions like: How many times did I work on this project? When was the last time I did this? How many hours have I spent on it this week, month, or year? That all changed when I discovered ATracker about a year and a half ago. At first, it looked like a powerful tool that might take time to set up—but it quickly proved to be incredibly intuitive. You can start simple with just a few basic tasks and let it grow with you. As your needs become more advanced, the app easily adapts. If you’re an organized thinker, ATracker makes perfect sense. It works with your brain, not against it. I’ve tried almost every time-tracking app out there, and this is hands-down the most powerful, reliable, and flexible one I’ve used. Cross-device sync is flawless, and the support is top-notch—responsive, thoughtful, and quick. They actually listen to feedback and make improvements that make sense, not just ones based on hype. I give this app a full five stars because it’s the only one that truly keeps up with the way I work. Whether you’re a total beginner or someone who wants to track every minute of your day, ATracker is a must-have. You can keep things ultra simple—or grow into something incredibly complex. Either way, it’s a tool you’ll keep finding new value in.

  4. 5/5Great but got a couple of flaws

It’s great for time keeping. I use it every work day and have for years. It looks great, especially now with dark mode, it keeps track of my time very easily, and it got search since I have a bunch of active projects. The flaws are really minor which is why I continue to use it. For example, when I start a new day, the graph showing what I have worked on today always shows the date I last used it, not the current day. So I have to swipe to the right to get the current date. Same thing with reporting, even though the tab for Today is highlighted, it shows the previous date, I have to click on a different tab and then click back on today to refresh it. Again minor and no deal breaker. What I would like to see is a summary report with notes. Now, I have to click on each individual project to get notes. EDIT: the day I posted the review the bugs were fixed in that update. Thank you. So updated my review to 5 stars

  5. 5/5I Like It, But Watch Is A Battery Hog

At least a year ago, I tried this app out, and I was “okay” with it, as I was initially restricted to the iPhone and Watch apps. Both worked well, but because there was no way to access the data on the Mac at that time, I shied away from it. However, this year’s update is much improved. The Premium subscription has proven itself to be well worth the investment! The ability to track tasks is great in its own right, with everything syncing very well through this method outside of their initial “Dropbox” method of syncing. But: What really makes this app stand out is its Report capabilities. In that area alone, you really can drill down to the amount of time spent on one task, or a multitude of tasks. The only thing I would recommend to the makers of ATracker to make it better would be to give much clearer directions to new users from the standpoint of making sure they follow certain steps to get ATracker Pro to work on all the devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad and Watch). Aside from that, I HIGHLY recommend this app.
