1. 1/5Not worth money, very glitchy

   There were many free wedding website options to choose from but we chose to go with Appy couple so that we could have the app and the many app-related features it offered. We were so disappointed with the Appy Couple app. The features we were most excited about were the ability for guests to upload photos to the photo gallery and the push notification feature... neither of which worked! The photo gallery was extremely glitchy and many guests received error codes. It wasn't clear anywhere that guests couldn't include captions. It was confusing for people to upload photos and not be able to say what they were of or why they were uploading them and it resulted in loading errors for many people. The push notification communication feature never worked period. I tried it several times and no one ever received a message. The worst part of all of this is that none of these issues became apparent until the week of the wedding when guests began using the app. While they did have responsive customer service, I was really busy that week and didn't have time to troubleshoot everything for everyone and it added stress to an already stressful event.

2. 1/5Terrible Experience and No Refund

   This app was a complete waste of money and a HUGE waste of time just trying to design and send save the dates. Terrible user interface. No way to send save the dates without already having a contact’s email address. No way to easily collect email and physical addresses for guests. After battling the site for hours to get it to work (I’m tech savvy and had help from others) I finally gave up and purchased another app (it’s called Joy—love it!!). It was after the 14 day refund period when I reached out to request a refund; denied. Please don’t waste your money on a terrible user interface and customer experience.

3. 5/5YAAS!

   I used this 2 years ago when I was getting married. My friend just got engaged and it was one of the first recommendations I made to her. I found the website and app really easy to use, and I see that it's been updated to be even more user friendly since then. I really liked the designs and private/hidden guest lists feature-it made my rehearsal dinner planning so much easier. People who were invited had the info readily available and I didn't have to worry about hurt feelings from those who weren't or field a ton of phone calls from guests who lost their invitations and needed the info again. Highly recommend this app!

   What a beautiful couple! Takes my breath away! I send them hugs and prayers wherever they are at this moment! The way they look at each other, makes my heart sing! I pray they know forever love, that they grow together! I pray they experience special spaces in their togetherness and yet know ecstasy always in each other’s arms! I pray they are blessed with children that bring them joy with the parenting challenges and share laughter before each day closes! I pray their differences are resolved in a timely manner, recognizing the valid points in each other! I pray they honor each other year after year! I pray they roll in the autumn leaves with each other, with their children, and with their grandchildren, and great grandchildren ! I pray they always remember the feelings they shared when their love was new and realize their love year after year has grown deeper, stronger and indestructible in all circumstances! I pray they forever close their eyes in each other’s arms! I pray they comfort, encourage, support and believe in each other always! I pray they are forever the best of friends! I pray they see in each other’s eyes the smiles and tears of two! I pray they will complete each other but always keep their own special uniqueness

5. 3/5Glitchy, but probably the best option out there

   I have only been using this app for a few months and already have had to write to customer support twice. It really upsets me that they advertise having “24/7” customer service, but it doesn’t feel like that. There is no customer service phone number to call, and there is no live chat. When you sent a support request via email, they say they will get back to you within 24 hrs. I don’t know, to me that is not 24/7 customer support. This first issue took about a week to resolve with slow emails back and forth. Basically I wasn’t able to use their Appy Studio feature to make personalized electronic save the dates. They said that my account was corrupted and had to reset it, which fixed this issue. Now, once I sent out these said email save the dates, some of my guests are not receiving them, even when they check their spam folder. The stats on the email show that the emails have not bounced. Now I’m thinking I will have to use a business email service to track these... Also, at least one guest guest has received the email and opened it, but this has not updated on the email stats. Overall, I am very frustrated that a service I paid for is this glitchy. Also, as many other reviews have stated, the user interface takes a while to learn and get used to, and I am a very tech-friendly person. The reality is, I think this is the best option out there for a wedding with all of these capabilities, hence why I gave 3 stars, though there are many improvements appy couple could make.
