1. 5/5Outrageous update

   I personally used to love Anghami, until they forced update without any notification and disabled the rewind button, as well as restricted the amount of times we could listen to an artist. This completely contradicts its images and app description, because we do not get unlimited free music anymore. Anghami is now no different to its competitors. We might as well use a different app that has the same options that Anghami used to have. It's restricted in the amount of times we listen to an artist (I've been listening to this one artist all afternoon, then when it came to playing another song later on, it disabled my choice of preference). The only reason I chose Anghami was because of its wonderful amount of freedom it gave to me, as well as everyone. Now, I am completely astonished by the lengths that this company took. Terrible.

2. 2/5Full of bugs

   My use case is pretty simple. I have a playlist I like to keep playing over and over. I ask you to do ONE job yet you still fail at it. 1. First of all, the “previous song” and “next song” buttons disappeared recently. So when i am driving, i can only skip 5 seconds backwards or forward which obviously isn’t useful at all (why would i even want that?) 2. Anghami somehow allows artists to change the content of their songs/audio files. I totally understand you give people permission to delete their content. But changing it!?!! Completely surprising. I have a playlist of 114 audio files (Quran) that suddenly got shrinked to 30, most of them are different recordings from what I originally selected. I didn’t want to include them yet all of a sudden I woke up to a whole new playlist I didn’t want. 3. A bug that has been there since forever: if you play a song once, and replay the playlist, it starts from the end! You can imagine, as someone who likes to repeat my playlist of Quran, I find myself listening to the last 1 or 2 ayahs only, unless I manually start the file from the beginning (which no longer works easily because of the bug 1) An 2008 mp3 player would do a better job at this, really!! I don’t need any of the fancy AI features, just get the basic music playing functionality working and I will be super grateful.

3. 1/5Major Disappointment in the New Update

   I want to revert back to the older Anghami version, this app is crappy. I preview songs before actually playing them, and it shows on my feed that I’ve played them... this is very very disappointing! I expect to have the same old lovely look Anghami had. I got a new device, and forgot to turn off the automatic updates so the app got updated before I even said so... Anghami used to be the app everyone looked up to, I myself let go of the music app in my iPhone just to have the music all in one place, regardless of some exclusive and unreleased material of my favorite artists that I keep in the Music app this way to save space. I advise you to please bring back the old sleek look this app had, or at least not let songs you just preview a second or 10 of only show unlike before, when you actually play a song and it shows on the recently played. All users must not update at all!! This is very disappointing. I gave it two stars when it deserves a measly one and even half a star now, two just for the music updates. But hence IT ONLY JUST DESERVES HALF A STAR. BRING BACK THE OLD ANGHAMI ASAP AND STOP SHOWING PREVIEWED SONGS ON THE FEED AND RECENTLY PLAYED WTH!!

4. 1/5Technical issue and landscap mode

   The app has some technical issue for long time now Firstly, when I open my friend's music activity and move from one friend to another, usually the last track from my previous friend stuck on loop and keeps playing. The only way to stop this loop is by close the music activity area. Secondly, If I left the status "Music Activities", there's no way to go back and open it without close the entire application and open it again. So if I would like to listen to my friend's last played songs. A track can stuck on loop. if I exit the status/Music Activities, I can’t go back "It's just not open" the only way to open it again is by restart the entire application. It's very annoying and what makes it worse is these issues here for a long time now. Also, there's no way to open the application on the landscape mode. I can understand the reason why there is no landscape mode on iPhone "All users usually use their iPhone on portarit mode except for games and watching videos" but not on the iPad. I and many users prefer iPad on landscape mode but because of your lack of support, I can’t use Angami on iPad.

5. 4/5Just a Few Tweaks

   I really love Anghami. I can listen to any song that comes to mind at any time. But I have a couple of problems, and the first one are ... the constant ads. I don’t mind the ones that come up between songs so that Anghami can pay the artists, but I hate the ones constantly asking me to buy a membership. I mean, I just want to listen to some good music for free. My next problem is that I can’t rewind, replay or choose a point in the song to listen to. And every time I try to rewind a song to the beginning, it won’t let me and will put up an add for me to buy the membership so that I CAN rewind, replay and high speed scrub. Every. Single. Time. Also, what’s weird is that I could do al, those things before and now I can’t and I’m constantly being shown adds for the membership offers. In addition to that, every time I use Anghami, it glitches my keyboard. And my iPad is new, plus, no OTHER apps do that. So those are my few tweaks/ complaints... but other than that, I enjoy Anghami quite a lot and I am able to listen to so many songs. Also, I have been able to find artists that I thought could only be found on certain apps (as they aren’t too well known). I do recommend Anghami. Thanks Anghami, you’re really great, but if you could just change these few things my rating would go from a 4 to a 5.

   Anghami is a very good app and has all music. But there are a lot of premium paid features. It would be better if they lowered the amount of paid features
