   I thought it was because of the bar I’m at but for some reason the app is down all across Manhattan. Went to 3 well known bars that are connected to this app and none of the selection for anything comes up. If you look at my account you know I put more money into this app more than anyone. I’m almost sure of it. I absolutely love the fact you get credits back when you use the app compared to when you use money. That the main reason why I use it. Please 🙏 update the app so I am capable of using it the next time I go out. It’s such a awesome thing to use when you are talking to people and you don’t want to move from your company. It’s wonderful that you can use your phone and I need this to work. Please 🙏.. I really appreciate it. Have a blessed work week my friends. I even rated the app 5 stars because I appreciate the convenience that much. Please update as soon as possible. I’m sure I’m not the only one. I do know I spend the most money in this thing tho.

2. 5/5Love The App At First But Now Freezing

   I had the app for over a year and love it. It is so convenient to not leave your seat at a bar and pick tunes. Also love how you earn credits and can use Apple Pay. It is a pain to put money in the jukebox. Yesterday I wanted to play music at a local bar and to my disappointment the app was frozen. I tried deleting app and reloading it. No luck. I even rebooted my phone. Still no luck. Today I tried sending email to the company but first time it came back saying that there is an error try resending. So I did and I got the same error message again. So figured I will address the problem this way.

3. 1/5Terrible User Experience

   I never triggered auto reload and was out with some friends the other night. Well they had no idea what was what and wanted to add some songs from my account. The app somehow triggered auto reload and charged me quite a few times. When I realized I had a notification from my credit card I immediately looked at the apps auto reload feature to see if it was on somehow. The button was off but to be safe I turned it on then turned it off. After I did this the app signed me out and refused to let me sign back in. I tried to reset my password but you need to do it in a browser and it would not let me reset on a mobile device. Customer service was able to get me a refund if the balance on my account but I am upset that auto reload was never turned on and I was charged way more than I intended to spend. Among many other issues with this app that is my suggested complaint, but read the reviews for yourself to see what other people are upset about. I will never use this app again.

The ability to search and play songs on-demand from your phone is super convenient and makes it easy to set the right vibe. The sound quality is great, and the app runs smoothly without glitches. That said, the selection of songs and artists can feel a bit limited, especially if you’re looking for more niche genres or international music. While most mainstream hits are available, there are times when you search for a specific track or artist and come up empty-handed. Expanding the library would take AMI Play to the next level. Overall, it’s a fun, easy-to-use platform that does its job well—just don’t expect access to the full depth and variety of a major streaming service. Still, for what it offers, it’s a great option for casual music control in shared spaces.

5. 1/5AWFUL FOR TRIVIA!

   WHAT WERE THEY THINKING??? I was using TapTV to play trivia at a local watering hole. It worked fine. This app for trivia is WORSE THAN TERRIBLE. Often it doesn’t recognize the answer you’ve chosen, even though you ‘pounce’ on it multiple times. So, even if you have the right answer, you won’t get the 1000 points cuz it simply doesn’t respond. Yes, I reset my phone. Yes, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. It’s AWFUL!!! Who cares if you can see the question on your phone if you can’t see the answers on your phone?You can’t play at home so you still need to be at the venue to see the answers. So, you might as well see the question at the venue, too. They tout seeing the question on your phone as a plus. Ummm, no. Developers, get a clue and make this SO MUCH BETTER before you get rid of TapTV. Don’t discontinue TapTV until you work out these issues. Seriously?!?
