1. 3/5Good but more instructions would be great

   The exercise routines are well put together and easy to understand. My question is there’s no guidance on how often to do each routine. For example I am currently doing the MA40, which is made up of nine videos and is supposed to be an eight week program. How often do I do each of the nine videos? Is it one video three times a week and then on to the next or do I mix them up? UPDATE: increased to 4 stars. The developer replied and sent me a PDF of the training guide for MA40. Great customer service. Update 2: Back down to three stars. Video number 6 and video number 8 in the MA40 program are the same. Video number eight is supposed to be ","the move session but instead it is video number 6 "the muscle maker.". There is no "the move session" video.

2. 5/5Love the app

   This app has allowed me to have the “gym” at home during the pandemic. I am also a person who would rather exercise at home (which I do 5-7 days/week), because I don’t have to go anywhere but my living room to do so! I like the variety of sources from which the workouts come, love that I have low impact choices, the fact that varied experts are crafting these programs, and the workout guides that accompany them are extremely helpful. Some workout guides have tons of info and are a great bonus. New choices are added, not with great frequency, but enough to assist someone in changing things up. My adult son recently praised me saying that I was in the best shape he’s ever seen me in making me really grateful I made this choice! I would recommend this app and have to quite a few people who have asked what I am doing to improve my health and physical shape.

   Zero support. I emailed on their app to ask a question and never got an answer. The questiom was from what I read about a PDF for directions for the 30 day challenge and now it is gone from the app. Hmm, seems that they can take off the directions, but can not answer a customer's question... I tried the 30 day challenge. The instructor seemed nice enough, but she did not give any alternatives for those like me who could not do some of the exercises. She also wobbled on some of the exercises almost falling not holding onto something like she probably should have. I literally had to search online for 4 exercises for alternatives so I could complete the workout. Some of the exercises were great and I felt challenged doing them so this workout so far is not a complete miss. I hope the next videos for the 30 day challenge are better. I will watch the videos first and look up alternatives if I feel I am unable to complete them.

4. 5/5Probably the Perfect Fitness App

   No joke this app has changed my life. Before All Out I had no motivation to make healthy choices and no excitement to drive positive change for myself. I was slumped on my couch housing sourdough pretzels and pop and watching episode after episode of Say Yes to the Dress. Rock bottom. A friend recommended All Out because they knew gym memberships intimidated me and wanted to suggest something flexible and accessible. All Out has reversed my outlook. The workouts are scaleable, challenging, and adaptable. The training is precise and instructive. The UI is smooth and intuitive. The production is amazing and professional and there’s enough variety to keep me engaged and active past the point of New Year’s Resolution. An essential app for anyone looking to make a change today!

5. 2/5Plenty of programs, poor functionality

   The good: There are a lot of different types of programs and workouts to choose from to suit your needs or moods. From body weight to dumbbells to yoga there’s a lot to offer and they’re easy to navigate. The bad: you won’t know what equipment you’ll need until you select the specific workout. Bench, loop bands, lacrosse balls, foam rollers, boxes, pull up bars, etc. some aren’t difficult to obtain but most home exercisers don’t use much, if any equipment at all. The ugly: There’s only an air drop feature that only works on a tv with casting ability built in. If you have an external chromecast you’re out of luck. This is an almost inexcusable feature to leave out in 2020. There’s no 10, 20, or 30 second skip ahead feature. If it’s a workout you’ve done a few times you don’t want to hear to intro again.
