  1. 4/5Incorrect mileage counts

Now we walk 9 miles a day and I’ve had to “ tweak “ the step length several times. It just starts tracking fairly well then it will lose a mile or more on the same trails we do every morning. So even implementing your suggested “ fix” does not work all that well. As stated in original rating below it barely counts the back now 2 miles of trails and there is a very strong cell signal there so that’s not it either. I would have to take the step length up to 48 or so get a reading so I’ll just “ guesstimate “ until I find more accurate system. I’m so sorry I paid $4 for this app! I walk pretty much the same 3.7 mile walk every morning with my dog. The only time it varies is when we add the last part of trails on so more steps NOT FEWER! Every 2-4 days this app screws me out of 1-2 miles! Since it’s pretty much same morning walk I don’t get it! Even parked my car at last part that it NEVER counts more than .3 miles and started walking 1.2 miles by its self! Did that walk today with regular walk all it registered was 2.7 miles! Looking for more accurate app. Need CORRECT info for ortho doc. Reply to developers: I already tried the custom step settings. This app seems to have MAJOR issues with any type of non flat terrain.

  2. 5/5The best!

So positive and encouraging! I’ve used many pedometer apps over the years, finally landing on this one, but set it aside when I got my Apple Watch a few years ago. Rehabbing from three spinal fusions in the last two years, my PT encouraged me to track my steps — not just a daily goal, but a weekly one too. I remembered this app’s option to a) not lose a streak if one day was missed and b) set a weekly goal. It’s perfect for where I’m at: prioritizing my weekly goal means I can fall short of my daily goal once (or even twice) a week and still feel successful and proud of my progress (rather than like a failure for missing one day). I appreciate how easy it is to see my complete history, going back over 10 years. I can track the months and years that I walked more/less and what was going on in my life/health. One unexpected insight I gleaned upon returning to this app is how drastically my step count dropped when I started serious weightlifting. As a personal trainer, I know that our bodies are built to ambulate. Apple Watch is less geared toward tracking steps as much as it is tracking activity. I want and need to track both for balanced and healthy mobility and functional fitness. Right mow, I’m walking far more than I would without this app and have no plans to stop using it, even once my rehab is complete. Thank you!!

  3. 5/5Excellent Step Tracking App

This ActivityTracker app has been a great way to keep track of my daily steps and activity right from my phone. It’s very easy to use, and I like how clear and simple the layout is. The app tracks steps accurately and gives helpful daily progress updates that keep me motivated to stay active. One of the best things is that it works in the background without being complicated to set up. I can quickly check my progress anytime, and the stats are easy to understand. It’s a great tool for anyone wanting to walk more, stay active, and keep up with fitness goals. Overall, it’s a reliable app that does exactly what it promises, and I’m very happy with it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  4. 5/5DISABLED GENIUS FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE

I have an untreatable TBI and declining fast. I have found a way to maybe slow it or stop it. I have rare brain condition that I am able to analyze and understand and fix things. My Service Dog got Terminal cancer and they said he wouldn’t make through night. I’m unable to see to research so I studied him for 5 days and I jumped up wrote down a list of natural remedies. I had him running like a puppy in a week. Took back for X-ray 5 months later and vet said I killed every tumor. They said he couldn’t be saved but I have to much compassion and will and he was all I had left. So we use your app for a lot of walking trying to keep my strength till I get the necessary natural medicine for me to try saving my life!

  5. 3/5L’il Bits to Fix over Coffee

The app looks great and gives a nice history, but fails to count steps if you don’t walk very far. I vacuumed the house to the tune of 0 additional steps. Also, I paid for the pro version because I thought it would sync with my watch, a Fit Bit Blaze. Apparently, you need an Apple Watch for sync to be effective 😐. Overall, if you never set your phone down and walk away from it AND you walk far enough for the app to recognize your effort to create a greater step count, you’ll enjoy this app. It knows exactly when I get in bed and when I get out of bed, assuming I picked up the phone when I woke. There were instances of 13 hours of sleep counted on days that I didn’t use my phone as an alarm and went about my day. It’s not perfect, but this app has a lot of promise with just a few glitches to muddle through.
