   I guess people don’t know how to do their own research anymore and are just mindlessly applying for lease-to-owns nowadays. Reading these reviews has truly stunned me to my pearls, because y’all are mad that this is a lease to own program and you didn’t take the time to educate yourself on how this service works? Y’all are crazy, Acima, just like Progressive, Snap, and other LEASE-TO-OWN programs works amazing at facilitating your payments as well as giving you 90 days option to pay it off with no lease to own cost. Educate yourselves before bad mouthing on this company who provides a great flexible service for people. Shame on y’all for your ignorance, it’s not Acima’s fault that y’all didn’t read the fine print or ask more questions when applying and signing your lease to own agreement.

   Do not use Acima. You will end up paying 4 times the original amount of the item This is a very predatory company and the interest rate is higher that any other way of credit probably like 250 to 400 percent interest. They reached out to me so see why my review was so bad I reached out to them explaining that the agent on the phone with my first lease told me 90 day pay off option is the cash price of the product bought plus $50 which turned out to be a very big lie. I was going to pay off a lease today I opened a few weeks ago and noticed I was going to be charged a little over $300 in fees for an $800 lease when I tried to explain this on the phone the lady got aggressive with me and tried to keep me from speaking until I got aggravated and got loud with her. I am going to contact an attorney today because I was lied to by an Acima agent which the basis of me using Acima was because of the lies the original agent I contacted told me. DO NOT USE ACIMA you will regret it the entire time you do business with them. I had a $1750 lease last year that charged me $100 in fees I liked over everything today and found this now they are charging $300 over for an $800 lease. They keep sending me an email saying reach out to them then they are very rude to me on the phone and try to be intimidating I’m going to get a lawyer involved

   I’ve had to use this app a few times and all the times I’ve used this app I haven’t had a good experience. Yeah sure I could be on the phone with customer service every time I run into a problem but honestly I shouldn’t have to, it should be user friendly. And not to mention their customer service doesn’t resolve anything. For example it keeps telling me I have a past due balance but I’ve paid it and went through on my end so not sure why it keeps saying that. Also it shouldn’t take 3-10 business days to go through especially if it already went through on my end. I’ve tried moving around stuff and calling and still nothing. Also it doesn’t take into account if your paycheck doesn’t go through to your bank right away. It automatically says past due and to call them. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone as it doesn’t do anything. Please try other services to finance before using this. Yeah not the best. ALSO NOT TO MENTION THEY RAISE CRAZY TAXES ON YOUR PAYMENTS SO BE AWARE!! Yeah def not an app we should be using.

4. 1/5Zero stars if I could.

   Unbelievable. If I could zero star this company I would. Absolute trash and you WILL pay ATLEAST double the price on the merchandise. You are 100% better off purchasing in full through original sellers or even leasing anywhere else. Ps5? Ended up paying close to 2k in payments. iPhone 13? OVER 2k in payments. I am swamped with life so I wasn’t even checking until I did all my calculations and could believe how I let all this pass. please do NOT purchase or lease in this place. All your money literally goes into the trash. Absolutely disappointed. And they “don’t charge interest” them where is all this extra money from? Going to? Ask. Ask questions if you have a lease with them and you’ll be surprised at the responses. Yes, they are professional, BUT their responses don’t make sense and all their fees and literally just come ups. I cannot believe this. I am so stunned and dumbfounded I’m writing this review at almost 4am. Running people out of their money and filling with unbelievable fees. I could never recommend or even look this way at this company again.

5. 4/5What's all the fuss about?!!!

   I'm reading the views and just don't understand. I guess some of you guys didn't read the fine print. It's just like any loan or Aaron's or Rent A Center. If you don't pay within a certain time frame then you pay interest. Rooms to go does it. Sometimes when you get a new credit card 0% interest for 12 months. I mean come on people. If you can't pay it off in 90 days then don't get it. It's just that simple. I've always paid off my items within 90 days. I don't want to shell out all my cash at once. So this option great for me. I guess you guys are sticking to the 30 year fixed mortgage as well. Look at your interest you are paying after 30 years. You will be shocked. Same concept. But I don't know nothing. Smart people know how to handle their finances and credit. Acima I thank you for your services and will continue to use them.
