Apps for track a workout

17 apps

Intent

The session already happened on a road or a rack; the job is to keep the set, the route, and the strain. Tracking a workout is sensors and a log, not a live league table and not a clinic. GPS gaps, heart-rate straps, and whether the watch can finish the file without the phone are the facts. A social kudos feed is optional. If the app cannot export the activity, you do not own the history. Kudos on a feed are optional; the FIT or GPX file you can export is not. Cadence and power are extras, not the log. Lap markers on a track session should not vanish after a sync.

What matters for this task

  • Can a watch finish the file if the phone stays home?
  • Does the route survive a tunnel without inventing a jump?
  • Can you export the activity to another log?
  • Are rest days first-class, or only more volume?
