Health & fitness Apps
11 apps
Definition
A closed ring on a watch is not a diagnosis and should never pretend to be one. Health & fitness apps count movement, sleep, and training blocks — they are coaches and logs, not clinics. Medical is the other door: records, meds, and symptoms that need a licence. The useful facts are which sensors they read, whether a workout survives without the phone, and who sees the graph. Calorie numbers are estimates. If an app claims to treat a condition, it is in the wrong category or making a claim we will not repeat.
Common tasks
- Record a run, ride or gym block from a watch
- See sleep and strain as a trend, not a single night
- Follow a training plan with rest days
- Export a workout to another log
Common constraints
- Calories and 'readiness' scores are estimates
- Many plans need a wearable and an account
- This is not a substitute for clinical care
