5/5This App Is Amazing
I literally love this app. I downloaded this app yesterday and studied all day. I took my permit test today and passed it with a perfect score. I don’t understand why everyone is complaining yes you do have to pay but there’s a 3 day free trial after that you have to pay. I did all 60 levels in one day because I had to take the test the next day. If you can’t afford it just use the free 3 day trial and memorize and much as you can. This app makes studying fun and entertaining. I couldn’t stay studying for more than 20 minutes on the Book I’ll end up falling asleep but I studied all day this this app which is shocking to me. There’s even an option to pay $9.99 a month instead of $4.99 a week. $10 a month is not expensive especially for the amount of information this app gives you! I know this a long review but I’m just in disbelief of how much I’ve learned in a couple of hours. When I first downloaded the app I literally had no clue about anything that do with driving. A Day later I passed my permit test with a perfect score. Anyways the point is I loveeee this app and give it a try!

3/5Eh...
Okay, so I do like this app, and it’s good for helping me study for my permit test, with all of the visuals and the simplicity of each chapter. That being said, and I get that you guys have to earn your money, but please, for the love of God, don’t lock everything behind a paywall! Most people, including me, are teenagers that are going to take their permit tests soon. Most of us don’t have jobs, and I can’t even buy premium because where I live, you have to be 16 to work. I think it’s a little scummy making teenagers pay to use this app. There are so many other ways for you guys to make money. I’d rather you NOT force us to buy premium and just make people watch ads. You COULD offer premium, but that should be optional, not forced upon everyone. Also, the reminder thing doesn’t even work. I set my reminder time to a certain time, and I get reminded 2+ hours after the time that I set. Fix that please. Also, seriously? Those who don’t get premium get a daily limit of TWO LESSONS? Are you kidding me? It’s like you’re punishing those who genuinely can’t buy premium, which that in and of itself is just a horrible thing to do. And also, why would you limit the amount of ads people can watch? Don’t you WANT more money? Limiting ads to two a day won’t make you more money. The least you can do is get rid of the limited amount of lessons those who don’t have premium can do. 2 a day is atrocious and messed up, and again, feels like a punishment.

2/5Good but you should know your audience
First off let me give credit where credit is due, it’s a well developed app and is super simple to use. My biggest gripe however is the fact that you have to pay for it. I understand it’s difficult to develop an app and do all the research for every state and then turn around and make it completely free, but I downloaded the app in order to just see what I still know, I’m 17 and already took the test and passed. It’s a little annoying because I just wanted to go through it quickly and maybe even learn something new. The paywall is a little high, maybe drop the price down to 1.99 a week or 4.99 a month. The problem is how you can only do two “lessons” a day. I say lessons loosely because they don’t teach you much, it’s more of a pop quiz rather than teaching you the information. Granted it’s still wonderfully developed but I’d rather have a less developed app and it have lots of ads than an almost over developed app that requires a paywall. Like I said in the title “know the audience your selling to”, the marketing I got for the ad wasn’t even geared towards parents, it was to kids learning to drive. kids who need to get a permit in order to get a job should be your primary audience because people in low to middle income housing will use this much more than people in high income housing, because kids whose parents make a good living will just go to a real instructor. The cost is too high for kids to ask their parents to pay for it, anyways, good job to the development team in this one and sorry for the long review.

3/5App runs very smooth but giving us ads and forcing a membership?
I have to admit I find this app to be extremely well built as well as helpful for a student like me, but I find it tough on a tight schedule. I don’t have the money to complete this in a week, I am also in no rush, but I find it upsetting that the little time I find myself doing this, I can’t do more than 3 chapters. I understand this a very expensive app to develop, but I have lost patience with back to back ads and still not being able to continue. Again I’m a freshman in high school, I have got a lot to do, much less than others, but still how do you expect people with full-time jobs or school to have the patience as well as time to complete this. And according to my math, at this rate, it will take 2 and a half weeks not including special recaps- and while you may want the special help (which is very good) I just feel like I can do so much more. So before going premium do double check yourself that you are prepared, other wise I love the innovation and the professionalism in this app. It’s very smooth and even somewhat relaxing. The atmosphere is one I would like to learn in and I believe developers have outdone themselves. But I would recommend specialized classes such as motorcycles, semi trucks, manual-drive. And while I haven’t looked completely into those details I am satisfied with the app

4/5Lower the price and I’ll buy it. You could also at least disclose the price!
Ok so for any future drivers out there like me, the app is wonderful. It just costs money. Lots of it. The thing that annoyed me more than the price tag was the lack of price tag. It doesn’t have it posted in the app as far as I can see. I had to find it here from the reviews. I’d imagine it doesn’t show up until after the trial. This whole thing feels like a big scam in that sense, since it seems like it is trying to hide the $5/week price tag. Devs, you got to remember that the world is trying to screw over our generation at every chance it gets. We’ve learned to check the price of things first. Anyone who has gotten this far, I’d just like to take a break from criticisms to say just how high quality this app is. If you can afford it, get it. If not, here’s my suggestion to the devs. 1: be open with the price. Tell us what we are getting into. If we don’t know how much something is going to cost, we naturally won’t trust it and leave. That’s what I did. 2: help people with the price. You can do this by two ways, one is to lower the price to encourage more traffic through your app, another is to help users find a payment frequency and amount that works for them. Maybe you have them pay less more frequently, maybe you have them pay in monthly payments, which I’m sure you already offer, but I can’t tell because you hide that info. Maybe you can open up most of the app and run it on donations. Work with us, we are all just 15, 16 year olds who can’t get a job until we pass our exams. You are advertising a subscription to people who can’t pay for it. We can find similar stuff online for free, and just sacrifice the quality for the price. Know your audience.
