   Hello all, I wanted take a moment and talk about my experience that my wife and I just went through when buying our home in Salem South Carolina. The experience started and finished with our real estate representative Mrs. Amy Pendergast. When my wife and I first met Ms. Amy she had scheduled 1 house to look at. After we met and spoke she takes with us and took notes about what we were looking for. We separated and Ms. Amy said she will put together a list of homes for us to look at. Later that afternoon my wife and I get a call from Ms. Amy, she said that she had lined up 5 homes to look at tomorrow. We were excited. When we met Ms. Amy at the first house she had about as much of the information that could be had about each and every house she showed us that day, I think the second house that Ms. Amy showed us was very special to my wife and I . We really liked the house. With 3 more houses on her list to show us we kind of knew that we found our house the second one she showed us. The point that I want to make is this real estate woman was absolutely on top of her game. From start to finish. Strictly business but very personable. I called her Wonder Woman, she was that good. If you are looking for a real estate agent in and around Greenville South Carolina,I would highly recommend Mrs. Amy Pendergast to be your agent. She worked hard for her money and she showed how much she cares for her clients needs and desires. An absolute must have if you are in the hunt for not just a home, but for your home. Thank you Wonder Woman .

2. 5/5Selling is easier with Realtors

   In August, my husband and I bought our retirement house in Fannett after our 2 1/2 years search. It was an easy process and thankfully our house didn't flood with Harvey's destruction. We took our time moving and finally decided to sell our Groves home recently (our home didn't flood either) . Even though we had a realtor from our previous purchase, friends of ours asked my husband and I to talk to their realtor. Needless to say we did ... his name is David Dugas. If there was a dictionary for people it would say: "David Dugas....ReMax Realtor, Broker, appraiser, honest, trustworthy, personable... a definite people person, energetic, goes over the moon to help anyone....".. I guess you get the point. David did everything for us from day 1. He says what he does doesn't feel it's a job when you love what you do and I totally believe him. He took all the stress off us. David kept us aware of every step in process and would call us to just check on us. If we needed anything and I called him he answered my call. If he couldn't answer my question he found the answer and call us right back. I'm a firm believer when one door closes another one opens .. and this experience opened a new chapter for us. We not only have a realtor if a need ever rises but we have a true friend. I would highly recommend David Dugas to all my friends and family members. God puts certain people in our lives for a reason and David will be in our lives a long time to come. Please give David Dugas a call if you need a good, honest realtor that will give you 150%.

3. 2/5At this rate, I can’t rely on this app

   I feel like I’m going crazy because this app recommends me the same apartments over and over again and I message the property owners multiple times because I never heard back from them and there is no way to report to Zillow that you are being ignored via the messages. It’s not even a property owner who hides the email or phone number in the listing, I cannot get ahold of 80% of these people. Also, if my search says pets, I don’t want to be shown no pet apartments. It is a waste of my time to go through apartments and save them only to realize that the search filter didn’t work and is showing me apartments that do not allow pets at all. Overall, I have only been able to visit two apartments and I have at least messaged 10 this week alone. It seems very evident that property managers are not active with this app, which means it is a waste of time for me because if I can’t get a hold of them, then I’m going to be stuck waiting and then my lease will be up. If Zillow wants this app to be better, I really think they need to add an option within the app, within the messages, that allows you to notify Zillow when you haven’t received a response in five business days or whatever requirement they didn’t fit. I have months old messages that have been ignored and I never heard back. It’s very frustrating and I’m likely going to move to other websites and apps now.

4. 2/5No better than Realtor after update

   I use to love this app and preferred it over Realtor because you had the option of the street view which allowed you to see the spacing between houses better and could get different angles of the front of the house. And I’m guessing that since there is no longer street view available is why a lot of the homes no longer have pictures of the front of the house; just the satellite view and mapping. The front of the house is a very important selling point, why the update got rid of option is mind boggling to me. Using Realtor more now because I need to see the curb appeal. Thanks for ruining the app 😡 Edited review: First let me say thank you for bringing back the street view, that feature is very helpful. But now I’m disappointed again because after the last update we are no longer able to select homes nearby to compare. When using the satellite view with lot lines selected, you can’t open to view any houses close by. The area off screen when you scroll over to it has that capability for a split second (disappears almost immediately after scrolling over). This app use to be awesome but now it seems we can’t have all its capabilities working at the same time. Please get this app working properly again. I’m finding Redfin a better option right now and it has major glitches. Do better please!

   This app has been frustrating at times. The house will be down the street, two miles away, or even all the way across the county from where the map shows it. When it is correct it is awesome! I love to see the inside views and the asking price while on location without having to call anyone. I HOPE they will continue to challenge themselves to IMPROVE this app. Plus! When you are totally not interested in a property, it would be great to be able to delete it from "My List". Just an added wish from a daily user. A MAJOR FLAW is the standard algorithmic equation for determining a homes value. WARNING! If you update an older home and do an extensive renovation, Zillow will not push against their own algorithm to make it reflect the work you have completed. Warning! If you do extensive and costly renovations, you will be dealing with a MUCH lower valuation from Zillow for the property as it existed prior to the extensive renovation. You can state all the renovations and changes that you made BUT! Your new potential buyers will constantly use the old Zillow price against you for negations. It is exhausting! You also get low bids constantly from others after you renovate looking to scalp your post renovation property for nothing due to this flaw in Zillow. This is an easy fix but Zillow doesn’t care. They make excuses and state it is the best they can do. Accuracy is the key.....
