1. 5/5BEST APP FOR COLLEGE!🙌🏼

   I usually don’t review apps but seriously I would not have meet all of my amazing friends if it wasn’t for ZeeMee. I downloaded this app just because I got an invite to a school I was interested in but it ended up being one of the best decisions in my life. I joined my school’s chat, messaged some people, and that was cool but I used the college connections page and found a bunch of people with the same interests. My friends had mostly the same interests as me so I messaged them and we all ended up looking at 2 of the same colleges. We made a group chat and kept talking foreverrrrrr like we just clicked. Now all three of us are going to the same college 😭 Before that, I was looking on roommate finder after I was accepted and committed and found a great roommate! We just moved in about a week ago so everythings just awesome. I could not have done it without ZeeMee. Even using the app as a current college student (ah so fun to say that now), I keep finding more and more cool stuff like audio chat and fun events my school hosted over the summer. I’m just meeting a bunch of people going to the same school as me, I’m not nervous to be on campus anymore. When I got here, I actually recognized a few people and hung out with them after moving in! Seriously y’all it’s free and easy, you won’t regret it

2. 5/5Fun way to look at colleges

   When I first got a text to join ZeeMee, I had no idea what it was. I was like “what is this?” I downloaded it and started using it to look at colleges, and honestly it’s been great. You can join different school communities, chat with other applicants and get the vibe of the school. I don’t ever read the brochures colleges send me or check out the websites much, so been nice to just get real feel by talking to other students. It is easy to connect with people that share the same interests. I’ve already met other students into the same music and sports. It makes going to college a little less stressful because I already have friends that will be there. If you’re applying or deciding where to go, definitely get the app. It’s the best way to find where you fit. I haven’t decided where I am going yet but there is a roommate finder, so once I decide will hopefully find my roommate on here as well.

3. 5/5ZeeMee is FUN and EASY

   The ZeeMee app just keeps getting better! The new features they have rolled out this year are incredibly helpful. Also, they have completely updated their chat! It is a whole new way to interact on the app. You can post live videos, GIFs, drawings…the list goes on and on and it is amazing. My favorite part about the chat is the live video feature. I can stream a live video and get instant feedback. Also, the video recorder is now so much easier to use. ZeeMee is incredibly user-friendly and such a great way to connect with colleges. It really helps you become more than an application. The link between student and college is easy to make, and the connections made prior to applying are priceless. The app can even help you find a roommate! It really is an excellent tool for anyone preparing for college and for current college students alike. I highly recommend ZeeMee!

4. 4/5Wish I could choose more than one gender I could form with

   I really like the app so far: it’s pretty easy to navigate, the concept is nice, it’s good all around. The only problem comes when you’re asked to choose the gender you most closely identify with, and which one you’d like to dorm with. I’m non-binary but I was born a girl and feel most comfortable around girls. Problem is, unless someone is specifically looking to dorm with someone of my gender, it’s hard to match up with people. It’s a similar issue on my end, too. I’m happy to dorm with either girls or non-binary people but the app makes me choose one or the other. It would be nice if you could choose multiples in both what gender you identify with and in which gender you’d like to room with—it would make it a lot easier to find potential matches. Again, great app but I think changing this feature would make finding a roommate a lot easier for people like me!

5. 5/5good way to make friends

   I’m an incoming freshman who will be going to a college all the way across the country. I have a lot of friends where I live, but little to none I knew who would be attending the same college as me, or even one in the same state. It’s always awkward trying to make new friends in a new place, so I decided to try this app out so I wouldn’t have to go through so much trouble once I’m there. Although most of my time on ZeeMee had been spent finding friends and migrating to more well known social media such as instagram or snapchat, ZeeMee has provided the platform for me to meet these people in the first place. I’ve met some amazing people on this app, and I hope it grows and helps other prospective college students like me.
