3/5A few things wrong
I didn't really want to write a review but nobody really touched on this but first Paying for wallpapers?!?! Wth and the fact that there aren't very creative wallpapers. Now for my main reason I'm writing this, pAInt. Paint is an air that creates what you type and that's the only reason this isn't a one star review and it's actually good but there are massive problems with it 1: it can't really identify a lot of words you say and that's a main aspect of it, still it comes out pretty good 2: sometimes it will say it made an innapropriate image when either I typed something completely normal or the ai says its inappropriate when that's blatantly false. And 3: the community has great photos but as of recent some completely fine photos get flagged and taken down and don't get me wrong some did deserve to be taken down but others people probably just take down out of spite because they're "inappropriate" just to clarify A shirtless guy or a Christmas outfit is NOT INAPPROPRIATE and if the ai wasn't running on 1950s gasoline it would at least recognize an inappropriate image based on looks instead of words. That's all hope this helps and to the developers if they ever see this, respond with a non NPC response or fix the problem or I'll make an even worse review.

3/5Was good until…
I had zedge from all the way from 2014- present and I had seen the updates. Most of them have been good until recently. Now these days you either have to pay or watch an ad to get a decent wallpaper or ringtone. Before you didn’t have to do that at all. I still remember showing off my cool new ringtones I had found on the app to my friends and they would be amazed. I get it that times change but I feel like this change was kind of stupid. I really did like Zedge but now I’m having complications with having to save ringtones to my files so I can use them. I had recently changed to an iPhone over the summer and before I was able to use it just fine but now it won’t save and I brought my phone in and they said it was fine and it was just the app. I am disappointed in the app, it went from being amazing and having funny ringtones, notifications, and cool looking wallpapers to just another app to spend our money and time on to get something so simple.

2/5Too much change and AI🙃
I’ve had Zedge for a long time now since maybe 2016 especially as a early teenager I loved it. It was easy to use and explore different sounds. Ringtones and wallpapers. Now it’s hard to find anything I can’t navigate through the app as easily. I search for something and what I search for doesn’t give me what I’m looking for…it’s just AI or nothing to do what I’ve searched. I’m 19 now and I don’t think paying money for the app is worth it either. Especially being a young adult don’t waste your money!!! But overall it’s a good app. Just too much AI. Way too much..what happened to the classics? Also Inaccuracy with the searches but besides that it’s pretty good app for picking wallpapers and stuff at least from my experience throughout the years. Please developers fix or adjust this😊! I just want my notification sounds it’s convenient for other contacts!! and I can’t even locate them because the search tool isn’t really doing what it’s supposed to? Not giving me what I searched for😔maybe it’s cause I got an iPhone now? Idk but please help!!!☺️

2/5How the mighty have fallen 😒
This used to be a great app. I loved being able to find free ringtones and wallpapers for my phone with minimal fuss. After going close to a year without due to phone problems, I was looking forward to being able to customize my new phone; instead, I found the wallpapers were reduced to 80% AI generated slop. Today, I changed my iPad wallpaper for the holidays—a colorful, realistic image of a Christmas tree—only to realize the hanger of an ornament “mysteriously vanishes” into the front of another. This, after an hour of slogging through wallpapers with spaghetti letters, melting lines, and smeared snowflakes just to find something that looked real. AI has taken over, and it’s infuriating. You can still find good ringtones, on here, and the classic rock options have expanded; otherwise this rating would be one star and I’d be deleting the app. I probably won’t be using the app anymore unless it’s to access ringtones and wallpapers I collected before the AI invasion, and I can’t recommend it anymore.

I I initially subscribed to the service with a monthly fee of $3.49, which I found to be quite reasonable and manageable. However, my experience took a turn when the advertisements became excessively intrusive and overwhelming. They cluttered the interface to the point where I found it difficult to enjoy the app as intended. To make matters worse, the app began to insist on collecting additional personal information, including my date of birth. This request raised significant concerns for me regarding my privacy. Given the increasing number of data breaches and the general awareness around the importance of protecting personal information, I believe it is inappropriate for an app to require such sensitive details. Users should not be compelled to share information that could potentially expose them to risks. I hope that the developers will reconsider their approach to advertising and data collection to enhance the user experience while prioritizing privacy and security.

          "body": "I didn't really want to write a review but nobody really touched on this but first Paying for wallpapers?!?! Wth and the fact that there aren't very creative wallpapers. Now for my main reason I'm writing this, pAInt. Paint is an air that creates what you type and that's the only reason this isn't a one star review and it's actually good but there are massive problems with it 1: it can't really identify a lot of words you say and that's a main aspect of it, still it comes out pretty good 2: sometimes it will say it made an innapropriate image when either I typed something completely normal or the ai says its inappropriate when that's blatantly false. And 3: the community has great photos but as of recent some completely fine photos get flagged and taken down and don't get me wrong some did deserve to be taken down but others people probably just take down out of spite because they're \"inappropriate\" just to clarify A shirtless guy or a Christmas outfit is NOT INAPPROPRIATE and if the ai wasn't running on 1950s gasoline it would at least recognize an inappropriate image based on looks instead of words. That's all hope this helps and to the developers if they ever see this, respond with a non NPC response or fix the problem or I'll make an even worse review.",

          "title": "Was good until…",
          "body": "I had zedge from all the way from 2014- present and I had seen the updates. Most of them have been good until recently. Now these days you either have to pay or watch an ad to get a decent wallpaper or ringtone. Before you didn’t have to do that at all. I still remember showing off my cool new ringtones I had found on the app to my friends and they would be amazed. I get it that times change but I feel like this change was kind of stupid. I really did like Zedge but now I’m having complications with having to save ringtones to my files so I can use them. I had recently changed to an iPhone over the summer and before I was able to use it just fine but now it won’t save and I brought my phone in and they said it was fine and it was just the app. I am disappointed in the app, it went from being amazing and having funny ringtones, notifications, and cool looking wallpapers to just another app to spend our money and time on to get something so simple.",

          "body": "I’ve had Zedge for a long time now since maybe 2016 especially as a early teenager I loved it. It was easy to use and explore different sounds. Ringtones and wallpapers. Now it’s hard to find anything I can’t navigate through the app as easily. I search for something and what I search for doesn’t give me what I’m looking for…it’s just AI or nothing to do what I’ve searched. I’m 19 now and I don’t think paying money for the app is worth it either. Especially being a young adult don’t waste your money!!! But overall it’s a good app. Just too much AI. Please developers fix or adjust this😊!           "body": "This used to be a great app. I loved being able to find free ringtones and wallpapers for my phone with minimal fuss. After going close to a year without due to phone problems, I was looking forward to being able to customize my new phone; instead, I found the wallpapers were reduced to 80% AI generated slop. Today, I changed my iPad wallpaper for the holidays—a colorful, realistic image of a Christmas tree—only to realize the hanger of an ornament “mysteriously vanishes” into the front of another. This, after an hour of slogging through wallpapers with spaghetti letters, melting lines, and smeared snowflakes just to find something that looked real. AI has taken over, and it’s infuriating. You can still find good ringtones, on here, and the classic rock options have expanded; otherwise this rating would be one star and I’d be deleting the app. I probably won’t be using the app anymore unless it’s to access ringtones and wallpapers I collected before the AI invasion, and I can’t recommend it anymore.",

          "body": "I I initially subscribed to the service with a monthly fee of $3.49, which I found to be quite reasonable and manageable. However, my experience took a turn when the advertisements became excessively intrusive and overwhelming. They cluttered the interface to the point where I found it difficult to enjoy the app as intended. To make matters worse, the app began to insist on collecting additional personal information, including my date of birth. This request raised significant concerns for me regarding my privacy. Given the increasing number of data breaches and the general awareness around the importance of protecting personal information, I believe it is inappropriate for an app to require such sensitive details. Users should not be compelled to share information that could potentially expose them to risks. I hope that the developers will reconsider their approach to advertising and data collection to enhance the user experience while prioritizing privacy and security.",
