1. 5/5Keeps crashing after the update!

   After the update a couple months ago the app keeps crashing. I’m not fond of the added feature of if you listen to a song the other songs connected to the album try to download. I have tried the app on 2 different devices and it crashes on both of them. I am on the road a lot and download my playlists to Bluetooth into my radio. The app used to work fine then it did an update and now it takes an act of God to get it to hook up to the Bluetooth or just listen on the device without crashing. I would also like to know why when I have a playlist downloaded the app decides it needs to do it over and over. The playlist will be downloaded then when I try to hook up to my pickup radio “poof” it isn’t downloaded anymore. If I had an option to move my music I would. Some of my music I was Forced to transfer from google play music that I had purchased (like over 2000 songs)when they decided to close that app down. Now I have music that I had paid for already that I can’t even listen to even though I pay the stupid monthly fee. I am being changed monthly to listen to My already purchased music and the app keeps crashing and I can’t listen to it. I wish things could be left alone it was working fine and I didn’t mind the monthly fee since I was able to add more music but now I am paying the fee and can’t even listen to the stuff I already purchased from google play music. And it isn’t like I can take my toys and leave the sandbox. If I cancel I loose EVERYTHING! Please fix this!!!

2. 2/5Clunky app. “Offline” downloads aren’t.

   I’ve paid for a subscription for this app for several years and it’s improvements have been marginal, at best. In a word, this app is clunky. On it’s face, it’s a basic app that plays music. But it doesn’t even do that well. For instance… If you dislike a song, you would think that the app wouldn’t play that song for you ever again. After all, this is a premium subscription you’re paying for, not a trial. You can skip through songs, but best believe the app will continue to recommend that song or play it for you, despite still showing your previously “thumbs down” review of it. Among the things especially bothersome about this app are the fact that you have to be connected to the internet to listen. You would think that if you “downloaded” a song or an album that it would be available to play offline, right? Wrong. The app just buffers until you get cell service again before it will start playing anything. Lastly, of those “downloaded” songs, you have to hit PLAY with each song-it won’t automatically play the next song in your downloaded list, EVEN IF you’re listening to an album! Have the developers of this app never used another music app? This should be common sense/basic functions for a music app like this… Do better.

3. 4/5It’s good music app for music you can’t find anywhere else but there’s a thing…

   I’ve been using this app as free since highschool, before downloading music from CDs and putting them on my phone (of course I still CDs back then because of the bands I love to listen to and want them on the go for more compact then listening it at home). Even getting the premium version later on so I can listen non stop without interruption was amazing to me and having anything on demand is perfect for my needs. It’s a good music app since most of the time lest you play videos as music you can listen to from music you can’t find anywhere else which is a plus but has some few visual glitches when using it. First off needs to fix the lag when trying to add to playlist or start a radio. Sometimes the music you are listening to can be bugged and have a non interactive menus where you would have to restart then app to fix, had to do this a few times which is annoying and hope it can be fixed. And offline mode can be slow and hope to improve on it. I usually listen to music when I’m somewhere with no signal and fixing this will help a lot. Overall great app and will continue to use in the future for my listening needs :) it’s the only place where I can find the music I like not found anywhere else on music streaming services. A great choice for listeners who want more freedom on what they listen to and can’t find anywhere else. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ four stars seems about right but still still needs improvement to be absolutely perfect. 4. 4/5App displaying wrong song

   This is probably one of the best music apps that I have used because it is so easy to use and the music catalog is truly unmatched. However, there is a couple things that need to be addressed before this is the PERFECT app. One being that if you are playing music for an extended period of time, the app has a tendency of not letting you be able to skip to the next song (even if you are a premium user) and the only way to get it back to normal is to exit and close the app entirely and then open it again. Sometimes it works the first time and other times you have to repeat that process which is pretty annoying. Another annoying thing is that when you go to listen to a playlist for a few minutes to a few hours, sometimes the songs you want to play won’t play at all, instead it will play the very FIRST song that you have added to that playlist. Even if you get the song you want to play to actually start playing, the artist and song that you have as the first song in your playlist with now be the name of the song that you’re playing (even though it’s clearly not the one you wanted to listen to!) Either that or the picture/album cover will be messed around in that same aspect. Kind of a long read, I know, but these are a few of the visual and auditorial issues you may come across while using this app and I truly wish that these would get addressed. Like I said earlier it would be the PERFECT music app if these were fixed!

5. 3/5Good enough most of the time

   Switched to YT Music from Apple Music a while back since I was already paying for YT premium anyways. There was a noticeable drop in audio quality, but I decided that was a trade off for saving a few bucks a month. Two big complaints: The queue system is still dumb. When I select “play next” to add a song to the queue, that should start its own little separate queue. So when I add a song with “add to queue”, it should go to the end of that little queue, not all the way to the bottom of whatever playlist or mix I initially started playing. The only way to circumvent this is to select “play next” on every song I queue up, but then the individual songs I select are queued in reverse order of the way I want them. So if I’m shooting for a specific vibe it requires a more forethought than it should. The second big complaint: this app constantly bricks itself. Totally at random. There are times where it refuses to load my downloaded songs. If I try for long enough, I can get the playlist to load but it won’t play any of the songs on it. But I can stream just fine? Kinda defeats the purpose of having downloaded playlists during these times. There doesn’t seem to be a fix I can find for when this happens, I just usually come back a few hours later and it’s suddenly working again. Overall, it does the job. But the only reason I use it is because it comes with YT premium, those issues I discussed are super frustrating.

   This isn't really a review, this is more of a complaint towards the people who manage the app because there's no way to actually leave suggestions or complaints within the app itself. Please stop auto zooming the background picture. In no universe can I perceive a potential use for this. There is no need to be cutting edge, it's a music app. Please just keep it simple.
