SEARCH - Direct answers: type a country and a field — like "japan population" or "germany government" — and the value appears right at the top of search. - Smarter matching: abbreviations and partial words work ("popu" finds Population), with a redesigned, easier search page. - Search from anywhere: a search icon on every screen (and Cmd-K on Mac and iPad). READING - Key facts: every country entry now opens with a quick-facts card — government, capital, population, area, GDP per capita, and life expectancy. - A new Accessibility hub: a high-legibility reading font (Atkinson Hyperlegible), adjustable line spacing, and high-contrast colours, alongside text size, colourblind, and read-aloud. - Read-aloud speed changes now take effect instantly while reading. GAMES - Pinch-to-zoom the globe in Mystery Country, an inline country picker that keeps the map in view, and clearer how-to-play on every game.
