1. 5/5A sincerely wonderful resource

   So I virtually never write reviews, but I love this app to death and I’d eagerly recommend it to anyone who writes. I use this app constantly for my own writing, especially when I forget a word. Wordhippo offers so many synonyms for words and phrases in so many contexts that I can input a word that is only tangentially related to what I’m trying to think of and find either the word I’m looking for or a better one. And despite there being so many words on the screen, the layout isn’t messy or cluttered, and travel between the various sections on a page is as easy as tapping a link. It’s easy to use, visually appealing, and I’ve never encountered any significant lag or issue while using it. If there were anything I would change, I wish I could go back and forth between the different options (synonym, antonym, definition, etc.) for a word without having to search for it again. However, it’s not too big of an issue that it detracts from the overall experience. I swear by this app, please try it out!

   Y’all. I’ve been using this app for probably about a year now and not to be dramatic but it changed my life dude🙇🏼‍♀️. I’m a college student and I always find myself looking for synonyms even just to write a quick email. I swear I use this app every day😭. And the fact that it’s completely free is insaneeeee. You can upgrade for 3 bucks one time purchase to favorite words and notes but they don’t shove it in your face like every other app. But seriously, it gives you a crazy amount of synonyms and they’re ACTUALLY unique and well thought out. You can search for common sayings or things with more than one word. Like you could search “sleeping like a baby” and it’ll give you normal synonyms but also things like “catching some zzz's”. Alsoo another big thing for me is how easy it is to use. It’s basic and has a very simple layout. Definitely a nerd for this one but idc take my advice

3. 5/5A Thank You to WordHippo

   I would like to thank WordHippo and the staff, that has made it exist! I work as an author online, and there has never been a chapter where I did not use this website/app! For lengthy years of my life, I’ve had to stray through unreliable and iffy thesauruses, but when I found WordHippo, it was like a heaven of words, all in one! This has been the fifth year in a row, where I consistently use this website, and I will never stray away from it! My fans of my stories always praise me for my fantastic vocabulary, thanks to WordHippo. Therefore, my loyalty lies with WordHippo, because it is simple to use, never takes forever to load, and always comes up with the precise word that I need! In fact, I’m even using it right now to write this review! If there’s anything that I need to say about improving WordHippo, then I wouldn’t have too many opinions, but I would say that I dislike the new buttons on 2019, where at the bottom of each section of words, they say to click for more words. I prefer the old method, where it was just all in one, and I wouldn’t mind scrolling more or hitting the down key more on my keyboard, and see all the choices of words that I have, rather than forgetting to use the brown button that’ll give me more words. Otherwise, thank you so much for making my experience with WordHippo. It means a lot to me that you I can give someone an amazing experience with words!

4. 5/5📌Not right now…

   I’m too busy at the moment but maybe later. …If I get around to it, I’ll write about it being such a useful tool and how I use it all the time. I’ll probably mention that I’m very pleased to have something like this that I can have quick access and is as user-friendly as can be. I would also note that- not only do I get a definition (or meaning) of whatever word (or phrase) I’m searching… but the list of synonyms it produces is through the roof! I hadn’t realized that there are so many different ways of saying things. The word-service this app provides is second to none. Meaning to say,… just that, …it’s really great. (But I probably won’t include all that. I don’t want to make it too long.) Hopefully, I’ll remember to express my appreciation to the folks behind this “WordHippo” app. What an ungrateful bastard I would be if I didn’t acknowledge the fact that I’m getting this much needed aid for the very low cost of zero dollars. $0 «—•That’s insane nowadays. There’s probably more I could say. Features or whatever, that I don’t even know about yet. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially people with a low vocabulary, (such as myself), but I’m pressed for time. Maybe someday I’ll sit down and write a review and it might sound something like that. Just not right now.

5. 4/5Excellent writing resource

   In general I find this app helpful and well executed. I am glad to have found it. I most often use the Similar Words (thesaurus) and Definition (dictionary) tools. In Similar Words, I appreciate the ability to jump to a possibly applicable section by selecting a Context from the list at the top, being able to click through any of the suggested words to see its synonyms, and being able to jump back to the top of the search results anywhere down the list. The function I wish that this app offered (or that I could find if it already exists) is the ability to click back and forth between definitions and similar words without having to switch tools and re-enter a search word. Sometimes I see a synonym in a Similar Words search and want to read its definition to confirm that it suits the usage I’m contemplating. It’s slightly cumbersome but quicker than riffling through both my thesaurus and dictionary.
