Welcome to Wishes, your personalized digital wishlist.

Wishes for iPhone has been rebuilt, and the app now speaks German, French and Spanish. Apple's latest design throughout, and a long list of problems with sharing, links and signing in are fixed. YOUR LANGUAGE Wishes is now fully translated into German, French and Spanish, and follows the language your iPhone is set to. A NEW LOOK Wishlists, wishes and menus follow the new iOS design. Opening a wish brings up a card over your list again, and sheets size themselves to what is inside them. SAVE FROM ANYWHERE Share a link, a photo or a piece of text to Wishes and the new-wish form opens with it already filled in. If we can't read the page, you keep what you shared instead of an empty form. The camera is back in the image picker, and photos you add to a wish are saved properly. LINKS AND NOTIFICATIONS OPEN THE RIGHT THING A wishlist link from Messages, Mail or Safari opens that list straight away, and so does a tap on a notification. A link that no longer works tells you, instead of opening the app to nothing. SHARING AND PRIVACY Switching a list between public and secret applies immediately. Invites and collaborator changes tell you when something didn't work, instead of failing quietly. STAYING SIGNED IN Signing in is more reliable, and the app no longer signs you out on its own when your device is locked at the wrong moment. LISTS THAT STAY CURRENT Lists, searches, filters and reservations refresh as things change, so you and the people you share with see the same thing. VOICEOVER Buttons that show only an icon now say what they do. Plus a nudge to share a list once it has three wishes, a copy pass across the app, and many smaller fixes to speed, layout and error messages.

- An invitation link now opens the wishlist it was sent for, even the very first time you open the app. - If signing in fails, or the app takes too long to start, you now get a screen that says so and lets you try again, instead of an empty one. - Notifications open the wish or the profile they are about. - A wishlist shared with you updates while you have it open.

Wishes now lives outside the app. See something you want? Just tell Siri: "Add this to my wishlist." Want a list open? "Open my birthday list in Wishes." Looking for a wish? Type it in iPhone search. It's there. Put a list on your Home Screen and watch it fill up as people book gifts. Also fixed: photo uploads, sharing links, and signing in.

Ask Siri to add a wish: say “Add this to my Wishes list” and it goes straight on your list. Put a wishlist on your Home Screen. The widget shows your theme, the list name, how many wishes it holds and the latest ones you added. Search for your lists and wishes in Spotlight, right from the Home Screen. Also fixed: tapping the widget now opens that wishlist straight away, and the lock on a private list sits level with its name.

Tapping your Home Screen widget now always opens the wishlist it shows, even when Wishes is already open on another list. If you updated from an older version, a short screen now shows you what's new: Siri, Spotlight and the Home Screen widget. Small fixes.

Gift ideas, right inside your list. While your list is still short, you see ideas that match the occasion — touch and hold one to add it. The notifications request is now a standard system sheet you can swipe away. Editing a list name no longer cuts off the tops of tall letters. If Wishes makes gifting easier for you, a review on the App Store helps other people find it.
