4/5Too many of the same notifications
The app itself is fine but too many notifications are sent regarding the same story. It’s too much. I will literally have 12 notifications on the same thing. It’s not updated info, it’s no longer breaking news. I’d like to be able to control the number of notifications a day.

I previously only used WIS 10 app for my news because I disliked the format for other local stations. Since this update, I’ve deleted the app and have no plans to get it again while it’s in the current state. The data that it requires is tremendous and I’m guessing it’s due to all the videos. If I wanted to watch news, I’d do it on a TV. I prefer to read the news and only watch specific stories. Plus, due to the size requirements, I had to delete other apps that I used. I’m. It trying to be rude, but whomever created and approved the new look must not be a user of the app because if they are, they would see how horrible it’s become.

2/5Pop Up Pain
It is extremely annoying to have a giant pop up ad blocking the screen for several seconds at the beginning before any other content can be seen. That certainly causes me to think negatively of the company who purchased the add. Other TV stations whose apps I have allow immediate access to news stories but do have ad links further down the page that can be viewed or easily scrolled past. I realize you have to monetize the app so that it does remain free but there are better ways to do that.

The app used to function great. But as of recently, the quality of the app has degraded. Halfway through reading an article the article goes full white as if it is trying to load an ad. I’m unable to rewind videos resulting in having to restart the video all together to rehear anything. The in ad apps have also gotten progressively worse making you watch a video before even being able to access the articles on occasion. In its current state, I recommend people to use the WIS website over the app as the app is to unreliable and frustrating to use.

5/5Loving all of news crew
On top of current happenings as it occurs first to report on latest events. Real time up to date reporting. On point with the upcoming weather so my family can know how to prepare to dress. I love news when it happens alerts I review news alerts on my app. True and dependable news that is news breaking events keeping me informed. WIS is part of my daily routine
