3/5Good app, but…
(For Context I have a IPhone 13 Mini) This app has a-lot of fun options on whether to create your own league, a tournament, & a relegation or promotion system. I can say I’ve spent a couple of hours creating my own Football League. Although this brings me to my main issue, the performance. For some reason whether in or Low Battery Mode or not, the game turns really laggy. I’ve played on full battery, with low battery mode on, and without low battery mode & there’s a huge performance tick. Don’t even try playing this app with 1 or 2 apps open, as it’s literally almost unplayable and at times made my phone freeze all of sudden without having the option of turning off or leaving the app. Clearly this app is doing something in the background for it to affect my phone’s performance drastically. And its a pretty simple game without animation, so I was expecting a solid clean performance. If you’re playing this app please play while charged.

2/5Not great but not too bad
Winner is actually a really good app. It’s simple to use, has a clean interface, and does exactly what it promises. Whether you’re tracking scores, running small competitions, or just managing friendly games, it gets the job done smoothly. The design is user-friendly, and everything is organized in a way that makes sense. It’s one of those apps that feels lightweight but still has all the features you need. It’s also surprisingly reliable — no crashes, no weird bugs, just consistent performance. The ability to customize your matches and results is a great touch. It’s perfect for organizing mini-tournaments with friends or keeping score in casual games. A lot of users agree that it’s one of the better apps in its category. Winner helps reduce the hassle of pen-and-paper scorekeeping and makes everything digital and easy to share. However, the biggest downside is the ads. They pop up far too often, sometimes right in the middle of you trying to update a score or check a match. It’s frustrating when you’re in the middle of a game and suddenly have to sit through a full-screen ad. The frequency can make the app feel more like a commercial platform than a tool. While a few ads are understandable for a free app, this feels excessive. It takes away from the smooth experience the app otherwise offers. Sometimes the ads even freeze or lag, forcing you to restart the app. It makes you hesitate to recommend it fully to others. Many users would probably be happy to pay a small fee to remove ads entirely. If the ad situation were handled better, this would easily be a 5-star app. Winner has a lot of potential — and in many ways, it already lives up to it — but the ad interruptions are something the developers really need to address.

5/5Amazing app
This, in my opinion, is the greatest sports tournament app. It is very well formatted, and I would only suggest a couple things. First, I would implement a way to group the teams on the main page and when adding them. With all the teams I use, it’s hard to add them in one by one through the search method and would be resolved faster if there were this kind of feature. Second, I would make it so you can choose the number of rounds there are in a league, so it shows as if it was completed when you’re done. If there is an 18 week NFL Schedule, it makes around 33 rounds for the actual matches. Other than that, this is a VERY good app that I would heavily recommend to anyone interested in the sports world.

5/5What a cool mobile game!
I’ve had this game for quite a long time and it’s been so fun simulating brackets, leagues, etc. But there is one small specific improvement that I would like and that would be to have more custom logos for the teams when you create them. For example, if you change the logo of your team and scroll all the way to the right, there are some animals that act like logos almost like in the NFL, like a bear or a lion. My suggestion is just to maybe add more of those animals because I think it provides variety and it helps new players simulate very realistic games and matches. I think this would be a good addition because sometimes it’s hard for people to think about what teams they should even add in their leagues or tournaments. Thank You! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4/5Great App (Suggestions)
This is an all around great app for people who would want to track their own leagues, tournaments, and playoffs. I mainly use it for the hockey league I’m in charge in. For the hockey template I recommend adding these things that’ll make the app easier to use. 1) When your scoring a game and the home team scores a goal it would be nice if there was a goal horn. 2) When I press the penalty button when a penalty is committed it’ll be nice if I was able to state what the penalty was for (Hooking, Charging, Delay of Game, etc) 3) I don’t like how instead of having periods it has the soccer way of time. 4) Instead of the overall players in the main screen being placed in alphabetical order, they should be placed in the time they were added (It gets hard looking for players for different teams if they’re alphabetically ordered) 5) There should be a shot on goal option when scoring a game. 6) It’ll be cool if we could add the team’s goalie and how much shots they saved or let in. Then we can compare goalies by their save percentage, wins, and losses. 7) When a player scores the app should ask how they scored (Wrist Shot, Slap Shot, Snap Shot, Tip In, etc) and the type of goal (Power Play (PP), Short Handed (SH) or Empty Net (EN)). Like I said it’s a great app, but adding these things will make it better for people who love hockey.
