1. 4/5Not too bad but not too good!

   My experience with this app has been delightful, to say the least. It is very similar to wizz, but has less people. Some things that I would thought I dislike, I ended up liking them. Hear me out. The paying to see who friend request you, may seem weird at first but Ive grown to like it. Paying $5 a week to see who requests is an insane amount to be spending for such a poor app like this. So it encourages me to just not really care so much about who requests me & what not. I do like the feature where we both match & I am forced to say something & it gives me a variety of prompts. I think its cute I would say, people on here are more passionate about finding friends (in my experience). I have had this app for 2-5 days & I have 2 really cool friends (shoutout to Deandre & Eithan) & they are really open to honest & meaningful conversations!! So, thats an excellent thing!!! I do not think the video callint feature is the best. There are weirdos & creeps that use it to their advantage to have some fun. That is why no one really uses it…. Other than that, I will give this app four stars out of five. It has a cute design logo & I honestly love the way it is set up, but it needs to do better with keeping weirdos away….. Thanks!!

2. 1/5Downfall

   Soda is definitely interesting than other apps but over time is had a down fall. Having to pay to see who adds is not ok. It makes soda seem money hungry and then there’s no point to even download the app if you can’t even make friends on it. And there is so many adds that should only seen by 18+ because most of them aren’t age appropriate, and with all the things you have to pay for there’s not much todo on the app which isn’t fun. From having to pay for more swipes and having to pay to see who wants to be your friend is a lot and it feels like we don’t have a choice but to delete the app. Wink used to be fun, being able to see who friended you and even if I had to watch a video to see who it was but making up pay is ideal. If I have to pay for an app to make friends, I’d expect there to be more fun and interesting things todo or get rid of us having to pay for everything. For the fact that soda was advertised as a new form and would be nothing like wink, nothing changed, everything is the same. This app is just a money grab and it’s not fun at all.

3. 3/5It’s good but the old “Wink” app was definitely better.

   The app isn’t that bad at all, I used to have the app wink 2 years ago, before the devs changed it and replaced it with this app, I just stopped using it last year. In the old wink app was fun, i actually made a lot of friends and people to talk to my age. The only thing i dislike about this new one is the soda+ because you can’t really see who added you anymore, it was kinda hard changing the describe, name, bday, etc. It got alot more complicated than the old wink app. In the old one you can see who sent you a friend request and their information before deciding if you’d wanna talk to them or not, even with sending DMs. But overall this new one still is good, just not as good as the old one. ^_^

4. 1/5HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND LACK OF SUPPORT!!

   I used this app and was easily able to bypass age verification despite not being the age I claimed to be. This experience has made it clear that their age verification process is broken. When I created my account, I lied about my age to see if I would bypass it. The app then accepted this without any questions simply because I “looked older,” which is a shocking oversight for any platform that claims to prioritize user safety. Not only did that happen, I also had no assistance when it came to recovering an account. I have been waiting for over three months for a response, and the only feedback I have gotten is that “my request is under review and will be reviewed” with no response after a while and that their team is “busy.” This is completely unacceptable. No one should have to wait this long regardless of the users concern. The apps failure to properly verify ages, coupled with their lack of costumer service, is a huge problem. If they can not ensure the safety of their users or even provide basic assistance when issues arise, I can not recommend this app to anyone. It’s quite disappointing that an app with such a large user base is this negligent when it comes to user safety. I urge others to be aware of the risks and parents to watch over their children until they can prove they are taking steps to address such serious issues.

5. 1/5Not Minor Friendly

   Right after my 15th birthday last year I joined this app and it was one of the worst decisions I made. Through this app I met quite a few absolutely disgusting men who demanded nudes and for me to act out their gross sexual fantasies. If you join this app you are exposing yourself to some good people but mainly bad people you will regret ever talking to. Targeting teens who are the most vulnerable to feeling lonely and desperate for anyone to talk to was a good idea in theory but exposes many young girls and even guys to gross people, some are even adults lying about their age to get to teens. Please stay safe and do not make the same mistake I did a year ago, as now I am living with regret and honestly fear for my life because of some of the people I met. The app also is really glitchy or at least it was for me but that is the only thing really wrong with the app besides making you pay to see who swiped on you, the real problem is with the people on the app.
