4/5App slept on but looks like important feature removed
This app is slept on! Provides great info and especially since I live in Oklahoma where fires aren’t mostly controlled by federal but state, they are still posted! Would be five stars but one feature that seemed to have been removed that is important imo is the wind streams that were overlayed on the map so you can see the direction that winds are generally facing, other than that this app is amazing.

5/5Thankful for this app!
This app is fantastic. Gives up to date and accurate information. It not only gives you the location and acreage of a fire but also shows close by Alert California cameras. Allowing you you go onto that website and know exactly which camera to look at. It allows you to set an alert radius so you don’t have to worry about needless notifications

5/5Worth every penny
This app is full of useful information from multiple sources-all rolled into one app. I receive alerts related to wind speeds, weather, fire, flood etc. it’s very easy to set up the alert area and the graphics are easy to view and decipher all the information I need to assess what’s going on in my area. One of the most useful apps for alerts that I’ve seen.

5/5Excellent Wildfire Preparedness Resource
This is a fantastic app to keep you informed on the dangers of wildlife. Get quick notification to wildfire starts and updated information. Early notification is one of the keys to surviving a wildfire. I definitely recommend this as a useful part of your homes wildfire preparedness planning toolkit.

5/5Zogg fire
My mom lost her home to a wildfire two years ago and only barely got out with her life. This app would have helped give her more time and will helpfully help so many in the future have a chance to successfully navigate their exit when they are moving so fast!

1.1
Fixes issue with notifications not loading. Labels notifications areas. Removes the home button and replaces it with my current location button.
-
1.2
Allows the user to open one notification and the rest of the notifications will automatically be loaded to their history. Fixes the load sequence issues that would cause notifications loading to fail on Apple devices. Fixes the NWS updates not showing the right location on the map.
-
1.2.2
We continue to improve notification handling in each release. Instead of having to open each notification from the tray, open one and the rest are automatically added. We also continue to refine the user experience. If you allow the application to know your location, we automatically zoom to your known location when you open the app. Just a reminder we do not record your location or any personally identifiable information.

We have redesigned the interface to help in the future expansion of Wildfire Aware internationally in the coming months, we hear you Canada and our thoughts and prayers are with you this summer. We appreciate everyone who has grown with us over the last several months and are excited to share some exciting new features: > FIRIS (California Only) perimeters are available in the map, with the ability to view when they were captured. > Ongoing Fire Notifications have been updated to include additional attribute information even if Inciweb information is not available. > New Fire Notifications have been adjusted slightly to improve readability. > All wildfire alerts load from your notification tray when you open the app, without having to tap on them (who is excited about that?!?) > Wildfire alerts are sorted in the History tab by newest to oldest. **Until we figure out how to prevent a notification from being dropped when uploading into the app, you will receive two notifications for every alert. We are still working on a better solution, but since fire season is here we don't want those important notifications being dropped. **

While the data may not be as fast as we would like, we can confidently say we provide the most authoritative and timely data available. We will also continue to improve it. We are also releasing our Daily Situation Report embedded in the app itself. Last year, we provided that information through our social media; this year, it is at your fingertips within the app.
