We have redesigned the interface to help in the future expansion of Wildfire Aware internationally in the coming months, we hear you Canada and our thoughts and prayers are with you this summer. We appreciate everyone who has grown with us over the last several months and are excited to share some exciting new features: > FIRIS (California Only) perimeters are available in the map, with the ability to view when they were captured. > Ongoing Fire Notifications have been updated to include additional attribute information even if Inciweb information is not available. > New Fire Notifications have been adjusted slightly to improve readability. > All wildfire alerts load from your notification tray when you open the app, without having to tap on them (who is excited about that?!?) > Wildfire alerts are sorted in the History tab by newest to oldest. **Until we figure out how to prevent a notification from being dropped when uploading into the app, you will receive two notifications for every alert. We are still working on a better solution, but since fire season is here we don't want those important notifications being dropped. **

v1.4 CAL FIRE specific alerting is now available for California users. V2.0 WE ARE LIVE IN CANADA. After almost a year of sourcing data, we are finally ready to expand to the Canadian wildfire space. While the data may not be as fast as we would like, we can confidently say we provide the most authoritative and timely data available. We will also continue to improve it. v1.4 CAL FIRE specific alerting is now available for California users. WE ARE LIVE IN CANADA. After almost a year of sourcing data, we are finally ready to expand to the Canadian wildfire space. While the data may not be as fast as we would like, we can confidently say we provide the most authoritative and timely data available. We will also continue to improve it. We are also releasing our Daily Situation Report embedded in the app itself. Last year, we provided that information through our social media; this year, it is at your fingertips within the app.
