   I’m someone’s who’s life revolves around fashion and being stylish, but I have a closet with a lot of clothes I don’t know what to do with. I want to be stylish but I get overwhelmed everyday trying to pick out a good outfit from my little closet that’s busting out of its seams. This app allows me feel more free when picking out an outfit. It tells me how many clothes I actually have, allows me to schedule which days I wear what, takes out the background of my pictures for me, organizes everything, and sometimes generates actually good outfits. It lets me remember all that I have in my closet and exactly what things I need to donate or sell because I really don’t wear it. It got me wearing things that I forgot I had because it was stuffed in the back of my physical closet. And it allows you to look into other people for inspiration or style them yourself. You can even invite your friends and yall style each other. The only things I would say may needs work is the background remover becuase sometimes pics up things little things form the background but I understand it can’t be perfect, and I wish the platform that arranges our outfits together for our lookbooks was more versatile. I wish it had like a marker tool where I could write notes and I with it had like a layering system with a lock button because some times I’m trying to move a piece and something else moves instead. It’s a little annoying but that’s all. I love this app and will probably use it my whole life tbh.

2. 5/5Not a fashion girlie

   I’ve thrifted over 75% of my wardrobe (a stat I now know because of Whering). I’m not one of those girlies who loves fashion and gets massive fast fashion clothing hauls every year. I mostly wear the same handful of tshirts and comfortable pants. Middle school me from 2000 would be terrified I would be nominated for What Not To Wear with all of my “unshapely clothing.” I didn’t think a clothing app would be for me. But I’m finally tired of being out at a thrift store and wondering “do I already have a top like this at home or did I just try one on?” I’m also tired of having a beautiful wardrobe and just recycling the same tshirts and jeans. I literally forget how many great (comfortable) outfits I have. Since I started using Whering I have gotten more compliments and I’m rediscovering things in my closet I never would have thrown on in the middle of a week. I also love the data. Seeing how much I spend vs the total cost per wear. I can’t wait to see what data comes in the season reports. When I was a runner I used a website that told me what layers I needed for my run based on the conditions outside. Whering just added weather as a feature so I’m hopeful eventually this app is going to streamline my daily outfits like that did for my running clothes. Getting dressed is just more fun with this app, it took awhile for me to take my photos and get it set up, but it’s an investment I’m glad I made. (Please give us a 12hr clock option for events!)

3. 5/5Lots of Potential!

   I love the potential of this app to plan outfits and save them when the mood strikes, instead of futzing around trying to pull something cute together in the morning when you’re already running late for work. I also like that when I feel the urge to do some (unnecessary) online shopping, I can instead go to this app and find “new” outfits by putting together what I already own in new combos. That said, I have some suggestions/ feedback: uploading is pretty easy except sometimes glitches when uploading multiple items. The guesses Whering makes about the style and color of what you’ve uploaded are correct about 50% of the time and wildly wrong the other 50%. The biggest hope I have is for the shuffle wardrobe feature to let us say “pull together an outfit with boots, jumper, and a skirt” or “show me an outfit with jeans and a cardigan” instead of having to pin one particular pair of boots, skirt, or jumper. Maybe the shuffle feature could offer big random shuffles like now, but also more tailored shuffles, such as “cool weather rainy, for work” or “dressy business meeting.” That would be AMAZING. I paid to help the app develop bc it’s worth it to me to wear what I have in fun new ways. I’m personally not interested in the community or shopping aspects of Whering, which might not be what a developer wants to hear, but I think Whering is well worth a one-time fee (PLEASE no subscriptions!! Those are the WORST) to use it as a wardrobe suggester, planner, and Cher Horowitz-style “Dress Me” app. :)

   I absolutely adore this app, it has made creating outfits so much easier for me and saves me time from running around in my closet trying to figure out what to wear. I also feel that it helps me become more creative with what pieces I put together since I can easily see everything I own in a consolidated space. The reason I chose this app opposed to others is for the clueless outfit randomizer and the fact that it’s free with NO ADS! For a few suggestions I think it would be nice to be able to copy outfits to be able to edit them easier. I often wear the same base pieces of outfits but change out my accessories each time, so it would be nice to to copy outfits and then be able to edit them without having to redo the entire thing (if that makes sense). In regards to the planner I wish that if you added a pre made outfit and decided to edit it later it would show up as a entirely new outfit in your wardrobe rather than just changing the original outfit. It would also be nice to be able to go in an edit parts out of the pictures ourselves if the auto background erasing doesn’t fully cut parts out. Overall I think the app is amazing for how newly established it is. I hope y’all are able to keep it free as long as y’all can, but if y’all do have to start charging please only do it as a flat fee, we do not need more subscription services.

   I have been enjoying the app in general. I like the interface for the most part but I’d prefer some updates in use. 1) when changing items and selecting it’s almost multi step because you need to type in a change in category then press done on your keyboard and then accept. I feel like this should be done quicker. Same with filters it would be nice to set and reset in quicker way. 2)It would be nice if you add a tag and a brand that you’re using especially frequent for the app to know what tags and brands you have added to your wardrobe in general not just on one piece of clothing. I have some popular but more independent brands and would be nice to see them in my stats and top brands because now it’s only taking brands that are part of the app list in my stats. 3) I’d like to be able to download my data. I’m interested in my own data and understanding my stats 4)for the styling tab I would like to be able to filter by location also and select or deselect the items I don’t want. I.e if you’re on vacation and those items are in a different place I wouldn’t want others to show up. 5) i like that you can essentially hide items of clothing but would like to see them that these don’t come up in the generated styling options unless I make the item visible again. 6) the community tab is still a bit confusing to me and hard to understand what is private or not. Overall I’m excited about the direction of the app and being able to essentially shop my own closet. I’ve become a “supporter” also and hopeful that an awesome app will only be more awesome

   You can make as many outfits as you want. There is a canvas to drag your items around and create your outfit. You can organize different outfits for work, home, vacation etc. There is a planner that lets you plan out what you are going to wear throughout the week, month, year etc. There is a slider for tops and bottoms to easily match them together to make an outfit. You can add any item apart from clothing as well and add them to your outfits. I don't like thinking about what to wear, so great

   This app is good even though there are a lot of limitations . that is why I gave 3 star. I need improvement: 1. Customisation (add/edit/delete/rename) on Category, Tags, Seasons, etc 2. Need a complete colour pallets 3. Analytics should be upgraded. Cost per year should be added. Need options to sort on each analytics; only filter options are there. Thank you for your response! It would have very nice if there is utilisation percentage in Analytics. [(usage /days in wardrobe)*100].

   Just trying to take pictures of my clothes to organize through the app and put outfits together but it takes 3x's+ of taking pictures and trying to upload. I keep getting poor connection error messages. I'm on fiber with great service and I tried data on and off as well and wasn't able to even get the last thing I tried to upload at all. I don't know if it just doesn't suit my Google pixel phone well or if this is a gatekeeping strategy to get you to upgrade but it's frustrating and useless.
