5/5Oh, I love this thing
As a parent, there is so much to say. You can have your kid bring their phone, stick an Apple air tag in their backpack, etc.—but to have an “uber like” experience where you know not only THAT your child is on their bus but WHERE the bus is and WHEN the bus is going to arrive or has? That is some next level reassurance. It is incredible how much tech has advanced since we were kids and that little extra “hey, heads up” is exactly how tech should be utilized. Get away with in a few years: being the kids we were 😆. I know how long it takes to walk—even at a very turtle slow pace—from their stop to our home. It helps me continue to build my trust in them, and catch they butts if they don’t. 💅🏻

4/5Could be Better
This app is very glitchy. Considering that so many parents rely upon it to ensure their kids are getting to school on time and (even more importantly) getting home safely, I wish there was more put into this app. It has done some really strange things in the past that had me in a bit of a panic, not really knowing where my disabled child was. That said, all in all, I do rely on this app a lot because I live in an area where buses are often late, and with my kiddo, waiting outside for an hour would be nearly impossible. When the app is working, it is very accurate with location. The ETA feature doesn’t work for us. I’m not sure why. I would love if they could get that feature to work everywhere. If there was a way to build in an alert when the bus was X minutes away or when the bus was at a specific location on the map, that would be ideal. All in all, it’s an ok app. It gets the job done most of the time. I just feel like with technology that’s available in 2025, it could be so much better.

3/5Needs work
While a terrific idea and much needed tool, the interface looks like it was written for a kindergartner, almost cartoonish. The most annoying thing is the map continues to resize after zooming on the location of the bus. Is the App called "Where's my house and the Bus?" No, it is called "Where's the Bus?" So concentrate on the position of the bus and allow me to zoom in and stay zoomed in. The tag on the bus icon updates with the distance. That's all I need to know. The next annoying thing is the displayed distance appears to be from the bus to my house and it should be from the bus to the bus stop. Please fix these three issues and you will have a far better app. Update: 01Sep21- Attempted to use the app while waiting for bus. The app opens to a splash screen and does nothing else. After 30 I closed the app and reopened with same results. On fifth time the map appeared and showed the bus progress. 1.3 miles away the progress stopped. The screen was frozen and moments later the bus arrived. Maybe ex hurricane Ida is to blame. Or maybe it's as others described and the backend servers are deficient.

1/5Extremely inaccurate
The eta and the actual whereabouts of the bus are both extremely inaccurate! The other day it showed my daughter’s bus being in a different neighborhood and still 20 minutes before drop off WHEN THEY CAME WALKING IN THE DOOR. My daughter is in kindergarten! She was walked home by her niece who is only a 2nd grader! I rely heavily on this app being accurate, and it just is not. So instead I spend 30-50 minutes at the stop just waiting and wasting time never knowing when the kids will show up! Stupid to even offer the app and not be at least mostly accurate! At least get the LOCATION correct! My daughter’s bus has been “sitting in a neighborhood 3.5 miles away” since Thursday last week. It has never caught up to their real location once since then. So in closing-the concept is great and it COULD be a time saver (especially in a district with many problems on tardiness due to shortage of drivers), but do NOT put your faith in this app. It has about 0% chance of being right.

2/5Needs work
Update: information finally updated and worked for a few days but then inexplicably reverted to the incorrect route for one child and changed the stops on the map to two and three neighborhoods over for the other (all while showing correct info in the “account” section). I give up. Great idea and very useful if I could get my kids’ info updated. Sending a correction through the app “email” doesn’t seem to get there. The information doesn’t sync between what’s on the app and what’s on the desktop version. And there’s no way to log out of the app, other than delete-reinstall-sign in. This only sometimes refreshes the rider information anyway. One bus route on the map finally changed somehow, but when I look at the rider information they are both still the old numbers (yep: 2 riders, 4 route numbers appear in the app and only 1 is correct….). Would love to be able to actually use this app.
