2/5Sudden problems with the app
I’ve been using this app for 5 years and it has served me well. I’m sorry to have to write a poor review, but the in-all error reporting is not functioning. The time predictions seem to be accurate in the last 24 hours. But the GPS is not working at all. It shows locations that are inaccurate or no predictions at all, even when a bus is coming. Examples: last night on the 47, showed no predictions even though a bus was on its way. Today, gave a prediction of 3 minutes on the 64, which turned out to be correct. But the GPS showed the bus stuck in Union Square Allston, which is more than 10 minutes away. Tried to email about these problem but it said “email failed”. Please fix this app because I depend on it!

2/5Glorified bus schedule
This app disappointed in that it cost me a dollar to have a worse experience than the free apps. It’s basically a gloried bus schedule that required you to click down 10 levels to get the information you want. I found it too cumbersome to manage (other apps show you the nearest buses and how far away they are without any clicks). Also, this app seems to require previous knowledge of what bus you want, so you need to manually enter the bus line to see where it is. I did not use this app long enough to see if the upcoming bus times were accurate.

3/5very useful
This has served well ever since the MBTA rolled out bus tracking. The interface is relatively clean and predictable. Two elements I wish it had: 1) an easier way to display all the buses on a given route—you can’t access this from a favorite/bookmark, but have to select the route from the home screen, which involves several taps too many for checking ahead (you don’t always want the very next bus, and seeing where everything is helpful for assessing if there may be more delays than indicated by countdowns) 2) link to bus schedules for future planning

5/5Using for years, always accurate
This app has always provided accurate bus location and timing. Been using for years without a problem. I was surprised by the low rating given my positive experience. I can see how a user would take the time to provide a low review at a moment of frustration but not provide a high review when things are going well.

1/5App Must Be revised Too many glitches
Paid $0.99 for the Where’s my bus app. I downloaded and installed it on my iPhone 15 pro and right away it comes up and then shuts down. I to uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it’s still doing the same thing. It just keeps crashing and revnot working at all. It probably may be a compatibility issue and also possibly it may have been updated by amateurs who are either just learning how to create apps and software or maybe most recent graduates from a programming degree program or the school they attended for their degree didn’t have the proper staff to teach programming.
