5/5So much better than 22 News app!
I really only use the app to keep up with local weather here in Western Mass and for the past 4-5 years I only knew about the 22 news which is terrible if you want to be informed about the weather! Every weather report is short, minimal information and choppy overall. I’m so happy I found this app because I can watch the weather every 2-3 days and be prepared for what’s coming. Every weather report is clear and very detailed, which ai absolutely love! Plus covers a few days in advanced which helps for when I don’t have time to check the weather.

5/5Where to shut captions off
The app is great but having a hard time finding where I shut the captions off so I can see especially see the weather and the temperature info with out words covering it

2/5Really needs work
For a cord-cutter like me, the app is fine in and of itself. However, you get maybe a minute of news and then repetitious commercials on loop for a several minutes (on multiple occasions the same commercials ran on loop 7 times over before any kind of news came back up) making it not worth it trying to use this for getting anything worthwhile as far as news coverage. Then, there’s the freezing when it would go to commercial break. The only way out of it is to back out and go back into the newscast. Quite honestly if it weren’t for Amanda Callahan, I’d have deleted this from my phone and AppleTV.

The only notification I have selected is for Breaking News. However, most of the notifications I receive should not be considered “breaking news”…such as the temperature outside or news from yesterday. Please limit breaking news notifications to important things that are just coming into the news room and the public may want to know about right away. All the other stuff should be “trending news”.

5/5My New Favorite
I use the app to watch live Morning broadcasts while getting ready for work. I used to be a faithful 22 watcher. No more. The app is far less glitchy and it keeps getting better. And the newscasters have great chemistry. They seem like really nice, caring people - very personable. Good morning Western Mass! 😃
