5/5Nice app
This is a really nice little app. Will keep you motivated to achieve modest goals. I wish it had a way to exceed goals and customize the plan a bit better. I’m just starting back out but my goal is 5-6 days a week of some amount of walking to really establish the habit firmly. I also prefer longer walks on occasion than this offers. It does allow you to continue tracking steps, calories burned and mileage after the allotted time. It’s not perfect. It’s just a little motivation and awesome at accurately tracking time and distance and keeping that stored as a motivating review.

5/5Very happy!
I’m in Week 2 of my Beginner Walk II plan. It’s a nice little app that encourages me to walk. I have owned a Fitbit for many years but I fell off the steps wagon a while back and struggle to complete my lowered goal of 5000 steps per day. This app is getting me back to regular walks and I’m already seeing improvement as I can walk the same route in less time. Thank you to the developers who read and implement changes based on the feedback section after every workout!

2/5Not what I need
This app has lots of things I don’t need, and isn’t great at tracking what I do need. I was basically looking for an app to track my walks/runs, not to lead me through a fitness routine. Foolishly I didn’t cancel before the trial period so I ended up paying for it so I’m trying to make the most of it. I just went to check my progress since I started recording runs in June. I am extremely disappointed that it only stored my runs for the last 4 weeks! I cannot find the missing runs. I’ve also been frustrated with the app stopping the tracking while I’m in the middle of my run. I’m sure the motion of my phone in my pocket is causing this but it shouldn’t be this easy for the tracking to stop. It’s probably a great app for somebody but definitely not for me. I wish I’d never spent money on it.

5/5Great app for me
This app has been really helpful for me to get out and walk a few times a week. The biggest thing it has helped me with is weight loss. I have always struggled to lose weight around my hips especially. I tend towards a pretty sedentary lifestyle. I do love getting out in nature, I just find it difficult to motivate. Walkster has helped me get out more consistently and stay on track with walking plans that I actually stick to. I am definitely noticing a difference. I dropped all pant size which is fantastic (even though it’s a bit annoying that my pants don’t fit as well! Worth it!). It’s also been really great for my mental health to get outdoors a few times per week. I already notice a difference in my endurance, and I feel a mood uplift as well. Like a brain fog has lifted. The warm ups, exercises and videos are very helpful. The app is easy to use and gives me lots of useful information and walk history. All in all I rate this app 5 stars.

5/5Walking is the best
Was looking for a walking app that would help me start walking more again and help me stick with it. Need to lose some weight, but don’t want to run. Found this walking app. The walking plans are easy to follow and do everyday. I like that it keeps track of how far I walked and how many times a week I’ve walked. Makes me want to keep walking according to the plan and not miss a day. I’ll update my review as I start to walk more, but so far so good. UPDATE: I've done a lot of walking. Especially using the walking plans that Walkster includes. I think I've used a dozen of them. Huge variety of them. I've done Calorie Killer 2 or 3 times. These plan have help be lose the weight I want and keep it off! They recently updated the app and it looks better than it did before. Much easier to use than the previous version. The other great thing about this app is their support and instructions.
