Some of the features include: • Updated look-and-feel with light and dark modes, based on device settings • Alerts: new icons, top section colour, scroll away banners, and event start and end times • Temperature notifications for your locations of interest • More prominent Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) information • Past 24 hour conditions now reside in the app, rather than as a link to weather.gc.ca • Option to switch between graphical and list views for past 24 hour conditions and hourly forecasts • Tutorial to highlight major changes – will display first time new version is launched and also found in the Help section for future reference • Ability to switch between daily and hourly forecasts in the widget While you are not required to update, and the old version still works, you will not be able to enjoy the new features until you have updated to the new version. Hope you will enjoy the new experience!
