1. 5/5Great straightforward weather app!

   Critical reviews seem to be written by people who don’t understand how to use this very simply laid out app. I’ve been using this app for almost a week and like it a lot. It’s refreshingly uncluttered and clear. So many weather apps are ridiculously complicated. Yours is straightforward and I can find everything that I need quickly without the distraction of ads, pop-ups, screens sliding in and out and all the other extraneous, useless “stuff” that dominates most weather apps these days. There are a few ads but they are cleverly placed and don’t interfere with getting weather info. Please don’t change! Linda W Smith

   This is the closest in similarity to my favorite Dark Sky app that I could find so far. Unfortunately it was sold to Apple and Apple’s app is still not nearly as good and is too busy to the eye, crowded with unnecessary graphics. This app is very similar to Dark Sky. I always watch the wind (for a swim in the ocean) and UV per hour (Florida). And I use Celsius and m/s. So they are all present here, in a very convenient one-click away, one row below format. Love that! What is missing is the direction of the wind per hour, per day - it shows only the current wind direction so far. Also, Dark Sky was showing all the same details for each day for about 1.5-2 weeks I believe, so a little further than your app. And there were no ads, neat and clean. But this is good overall. Weather app needs all the details but in a simple, easy on the eye format. Ex., UV index is high - number 8, in red color. Medium - number 3/4, orange color. Simple, no graphics/bars, this is not a Power Point presentation, who needs all that (like Apple made it).

   You can just skim over the opening page to get an over view, or you can dig deeper and get page after page of weather details. Such as maps showing temperatures, wind speed and much more. All without bugging you to pay for “upgrades” or giving you three days to decide! Forecasts are accurate and timely. It works on even older iPhones. So what’s not to like? Try it — You’ll like it.

   I recently downloaded your weather app. I was looking for a replacement for the app that I had used for a very long time. It was fast and easy to navigate. Unfortunately it seems the big A swallowed it up so I began a search for a fast loading replacement. I found your app and it reports just what I want and nothing more. I particularly like the map portion. Great work! Please don’t sell out to any giant company with a fruit name.

5. 5/5Best free iPad app for weather I’ve tried

   Not perfect, but this is what it has going for it. 1. It’s got all the data and information I want. 2. Pretty straight forward interface. Not high-image or fancy graphics, but a clean user interface. 3. The ads are not intrusive. They are there, but smallish and don’t interfere with the data or using the app. This part alone makes it worth 5 stars.
