1. 4/5Great idea. Skeptical it’s 100% working as intended.

   I have met a few people using this app. Some I have a lot in common with…others more superficiality matched. However, I have still never seen a third person actually join. It winds up bring me and 1 other. And, that’s actually fine as I’m not matching any local friends so the awkwardness is not really there for a messaging only relationship. The thing I’m skeptical about is how I can have a huge list of compatible people but none of them are compatible with each other? Seems unlikely. It will never, ever let me choose a third person to invite. Idk if it’s maybe a bug or if I wish there was a way to acknowledge that a group is only 2 and choose to accept or invite anyway. I see some people that I am really interested in talking to based on interests and goals but there is no way for me to contact them. Only the app generated groups seem to work. Furthermore, one time I had selected a person to start a group with, it was sitting open saying there are no matches for a third person, and a couple days later the app invited me to a separate group it generated with that same person in it. My original incomplete group with them in it was still sitting open. Something seems sus.

2. 4/5This app is amazing

   The way that they match you up with others I feel is going to give you the most lasting relationships. It matches you based on interests, personality traits, goals in life, etc and gets to know what things are deal breakers in a relationship that you could never be friends with someone of a certain quality. It’s easy to use except for (and this is my only complaint) how the messages don’t work well. It doesn’t show when the message was sent until a day or two later. Which on its own isn’t that big of a problem but the notifications for the messages don’t work well either. Sometimes I’ll get a notification saying that someone messaged me but then there’s nothing there and it shows up like an hour later. I’m also not sure if MY messages are going through because there’s nothing saying that it delivered. Overall I think this is an amazing way to make new friends

3. 1/5Unfair and horrendous blocking and non existent customer care

   I discovered We3 online and I was excited upon seeing its concept and all. I used over half an hour to complete all the tests before then I was prompted to download the app and then put a profile picture amongst other things. The app asked me for my location and immediately I accepted my account got blocked. This is absolutely unfair. I wasn’t using a Vpn or malicious software or anything like that. I live in and I’m a Nigerian and I understand that while some people in my country might be terrible and use apps like these to do bad stuff, not everyone who downloads the app is an awful person. Blocking my account because im in nigeria, even before I got to do anything while claiming its an app to meet people no matter where you are in the world doesnt make any sense. I tried contacting customer service and I only received an automated response and I am yet to receive a proper one after several days. This hurt me deeply, as I was totally honest in my registration and all and super excited to use this app because a lot of the other friendship apps are always look centred and this one wasn’t. Now i cant even befriend people because a corporation assumes a 16 year old teenage girl who just wants to yap about David Bowie to be a scammer. So unfair.

   I like the idea here. Make new friends; chat. No "social media", no fakery, nobody coming onto you. For someone in my 30's, It reminds me of the old days days of chatrooms and BBS forums. Except it's only three people, which really helps you establish some rapport. The only thing is that you can't establish your own "tribes" (hate that name by the way, tribalism is so insular and unwelcoming, very much cliquish "are you one of us?" proposition. Please call them something more like "social groups" or "cafe" or "meetups" or something - anything but Tribe!) unless you have coins. And you can get coins by paying (paying for Friends? I've reached a new low, then, but hey - better than ads. I get it), or free coins if you meet with your fellows in person. So why are the people in my tribes always on separate continents? I get invited to tribes where meeting up face to face is highly unlikely. I can create my own tribe to limit it to within driving distance, but that requires coins. And why is everything in kilometres? A minor complaint, I know, but it doesn't seem like this was meant for Americans.

5. 1/5Accused of “misgendering” myself?

   I cannot believe this is even an automated response. I had originally set a profile picture but was going through and trying to get everything on my profile to the “100%” it recommended. Verified my email and phone, connected my Instagram and then it told me to “Add a big smile”. Little did I know that picture would take over my original profile picture and literally zoom in to only my mouth and eyes. Obviously I do not want that as my first presenting picture so I changed it to another picture of myself I like, in which I got a notification that I am “blocked for the time being” because they thought I was showing myself as a gender that I was not claiming?? It told me to contact them to reverse this, so I wanted to give them a chance to fix this OFFENSIVE mistake and yet to have heard from them. I spent all the time setting it up to finally finish and not even be able to use it because they said I was trying to show myself as a gender I did not identify as. Not even bothering to continue trying to use the app (not that I can considering I’m still blocked for 0 reason).
