4/5I’ll give it five stars if you can update the imaging voice of the station.
This may be a minor point for most viewers, but I did work as a production director at a radio station in southeastern Kentucky. Even they knew that the first letter of any station call sign east of the Mississippi river is pronounced “double you” not “dubby you”. As I understand it, the voice of the Atlanta Braves on Gray Media stations, Jim Cutler, has no existing contract in the Charlotte market. If you would make him, or a reasonable facsimile of him, the voice of WBTV going forward, your app will get five stars, and your news casts will be far more enjoyable to those of us who still believe in the magic of broadcast imaging.

3/5Reading vs watching
What I like about this app is that I can read articles connected to what I am interested in including local news stories. However, the videos are much more frustrating, especially recently. For example, this morning I tried to click on a link supposed to show info about the school systems merging In Catawba Co. After watching 3 minutes of commercials it went to a different story and then 6 more commercials. I was about to close it after 3 commercials but wanted to hear the story so I waited and then was especially frustrated after I came to more commercials without the clip I wanted to see which I never saw.

2/5Update is not user friendly
The update from a couple of weeks ago is not very user friendly. There is also an issue with the notifications. There is almost always a high number of notifications that show up in the bubble, but when ai click the bell within the app, I’ve noticed some are older. Also, when clicking on the notification (which I assume should take the user to the article), the app crashes. This has happened since the first day of the upgrade. I occasionally try it to see if it’s fixed, but the problem persists. In case it matters, I’m using the app on an iPhone XS Max.

3/5Ok, but..
It works fine for stuff that is already there. It seems very unstable. Whenever I try to add a location for the weather it crashes. It has also crashed when I've tried to make other adjustments in the settings. Also I have an ever increasing number of notifications for which I am unable to view. If I open the notifications tab, it's always empty. When I tell it to clear notifications, the number pops back up after a few minutes.
