I love ordering from Waterstones. I live in the US and they ship very quick and shipping cost is reasonable compared to other companies overseas. My books come in perfect condition as well. If I ever have the chance to visit the UK one of my stops would be this bookstore.

I am in America, but I do love Waterstones. The new app makes it so easy. The collection of books that they offer is absolutely wonderful. This is my little guilty pleasure!

3/5Good App could better
The app is user-friendly and convenient, and I particularly appreciate having my Waterstones card readily accessible on my phone. However, one feature I wish it included is the ability to view a list of books I’ve previously purchased using my Waterstones Plus card at the store. This addition would enhance the overall experience and make the app even more useful.

Book selection looks terrific. Too bad the app keeps saying that the password must be at least 6 digits / letters long, etc when given the website password of 14 letters/numbers/symbols... The way it stands you can’t login or create an account, so what’s the point?

2/5Pesky glitches need fixing
The interface is designed well and easy enough to use and navigate, but there doesn’t seem to have been any user testing done. For example, you can add books to a wishlist but there’s no way to bulk transfer them to your basket for click and collect so you have to go through a clunky one by one process. The only way I discovered this was as a workaround for the flawed store location search feature. I have tried every combination of post code and simply ‘Richmond’ to positively no avail in order to collect at the Richmond location. Hopefully future fixes will resolve these small but annoying glitches. As an aside, I had a username and password for the loyalty program already when downloading the app, so didn’t experience the issues the reviewer before me referenced regarding the password field character limitations.
