v2.1 is a big one. Share any list with family or friends via iCloud. Tap the share button, send a link, and everyone stays in sync - adding items and checking them off together in real time. Import any list instantly. Paste text from anywhere or snap a photo of a handwritten list or recipe. The app reads it, matches items to your history, and skips anything already on your list. Drag to reorder. Press and hold any item to move it into the order you'll find things in the store. Your Watch stays in sync. Plus: enter to add items faster, and a few small fixes under the hood.

  • 2.1.5

    Sharing bug fixed.

  • 2.2.1

FUN NEW THINGS IN THIS VERSION: Notifications. • If someone adds to your shared list, you'll get a badge on the app icon, a badge on the list that's been added to, and you'll see what that person added when you go into the list. • Shared lists are now labeled very subtly with the name of the person that shared the list. • Shared list have a red arrow if they are shared out and a green down arrow if they are a received list. • Archiving a list stops the share. • Watch now sees Siri-added items immediately.

  • 2.3.1

•Quick Start - Tap a store you've shopped before and get a pre-filled list of your usual items. Uncheck what you don't need, tap Start, and you're out the door. •List Merge - Swipe right on any list to merge it into another. Duplicate items are automatically skipped. Great for combining lists when two people started shopping for the same store. Works well if a store is out of something and you have to go to another store, just merge the remaining items into the new store. •Store Colors - Each store gets its own color. See it on the main screen, inside the list, everywhere. Pick from the full color wheel in Settings to make it yours. •Walkthrough Tutorial - New animated onboarding shows you how to create lists, import items, share with family, and use swipe gestures. Skip it if you already know your way around - contextual tips will catch you up later. •Reorder Lists - Hold and drag to arrange your lists in the order you want on the main screen. •Settings Menu - New menu in the top left corner. Manage store colors and remove stores you no longer visit. •Bug fixes and improvements - Splash screen only shows on first launch. Better suggestions ranking. Various code quality improvements under the hood.

QUANTITY AND NOTES, RIGHT WHERE YOU ADD ITEMS Quantity and notes fields now sit alongside the item name when you add something, so you can jot down "2 gallons" or "the kind without seeds" without going back into the list to edit later. KEEP SCANNING After adding a scanned item, the camera reopens automatically so you can keep barcoding things in one pass. Tap Done when you're finished. RELIABLE SHARED-LIST NOTIFICATIONS The "+N new" badge on a shared list and the red number on the app icon now update as soon as someone else adds an item, instead of waiting for you to reopen the app. At a glance you'll know which list has changes. CLEARER SHARING ERRORS When sharing a list runs into trouble, you'll now see a plain-English message telling you what went wrong and what to do about it, instead of a wall of technical detail. The most common cause (a full iCloud account) now points you straight at how to free up space.
