"body": "The VAST app is an essential tool for Vermont snowmobilers. And you pay for it in your TMA fee. So there’s no reason not to use it and it is much improved over the years. It is the most updated available (the BMP and Polaris apps tend to lag) and particularly useful when you have a good snow year such as 2026 and go beyond your home club and adjacent area. But it is not an all purpose Nav tool and you have to download it before you’re on the trail.",

"body": "This app is pretty good, but it doesn’t seem to update regularly with the grooming status. I often see social media posts with grooming updates from the clubs that are not reflected on the app. The colors that were chosen to indicate grooming status are not very clear at all, and some of them, barely even show up due to low contrast with the background app. I also don’t understand why there are two options for gas, lodging, parking, etc. Overall, though, pretty good and clearly shows which trails are open or closed. Condition, not so much.",
