  1. 5/5A little disappointed ….. thx for the fix

The app is working great again thank you I really appreciate it cause I use your app all the time. When I first got this app I really enjoyed it I even payed for the pro version to get rid of the adds. It was perfect but recently the app has had a problem we’re if I received a call when using it, it would crash. Not a huge problem I was putting up with it but the latest problem is just to much. The app suddenly started to pause whatever I am listening too and telling me that a have reached my free listening limit. Then it gives me the option to listen to an add or purchase the pro version. I already paid for the pro version so all I have had to do so far is click the option to restore purchase and continue listening. But it’s a pain I paid for it in the first place to get rid of interruptions not to be reminded every couple minutes that I have it. Worst of all is that I tried to report the problem but all the options available would lead me to the message ( you don’t have purchases that match the option you’ve selected ) so I came here to rant cough cough …. complain. Anyway if the problem is fixed I will happily change my rating to 5 stars cause it would be worth it, please fix it.

  2. 5/5Good Application

This is a really good app that reads words allowed. I’m using the application to read PDF books. It is working very well. It does a good job of reading books that may have two columns on one page with tables, charts and graphs. It does a good job of reading the left column of words first and then the right column of words. It will read the charts and graphs also, so if you don’t want that read, all you have to do is press on the next section you want read. Its a life saver. Also, it works in multi task mode, so you can have PDF reader pulled up, highlighting within your PDF file and making notes while the app is reading to you (e.g. left side of screen has the voice app reading and the right side has the actual PDF book open) One other application I tried would not allow this, which was odd. For only about $8, I say this application is a bargain. I’ve already used the application to read hours of text to me. It is definitely saving me some eye strain. Word pronunciation is pretty decent, but I would follow along as the text reads to you, just Incase the reader pronounces some words awkwardly. Overall, a really good application.

  3. 5/5Great Alternative to Speechify

I was looking for an app to do exactly what this app does & of course the first app I saw was speechify. I was extremely excited to use it until I realize it’s functionalities were not very efficient. I was not able to easily set up the app and nor was I ever able to select documents from my files on my iPhone. But with voice reader app I have been able to do that all that! In addition, the price is significantly cheaper than Speechify. After your 3-day trail you are asked to pay $135 as a yearly bill & there were no monthly options available. As a college student myself, I find that very astonishing that speechify doesn’t work with people on a budget! This app deserves a lot more props for it service. I was able to secure an account for a one time payment of $8.99 or you can choose a monthly amount of $9.99. There are minor errors but I’m good with that. Still gets the job done! Highly recommend!

  4. 4/5Pretty helpful

If you're stuck looking for a good app that'll just read stuff to you, this is probably it. As someone with ADHD I tend to lose focus easily, so reading a lot of text always takes me a while. This app is pretty helpful, after using it for a bit I got unlimited free access to the standard voices which is pretty cool. The free voices don't sound the best but it's free so I'm not complaining. This app was exactly what I was looking for, something for me to just snap a picture of something and have it read it to me. The pronunciation is way off sometimes, but it doesn't affect me too much. Every other app I've tried was way too complicated or just wanted to make me pay a subscription. The worst this app will do is make me watch an ad every once in a while, which is obviously fine. All the paid features are optional and the app is useable without them. Overall helpful app, if you're stuck looking for something that just lets you read something out loud (without shoving a million ads in your face or forcing you to pay a huge subscription), then this is the one.

  5. 5/5Voice Aloud Pro

Had to give a review on this one because of the ability to: Import partial of book from one files, scan a whole book, editing the pages and allowing To continuously scan and add the next few pages in the same book. Scan partial of book, then add more later. So, it continues to let me add scans of say pg 1-20. Then, take a break. Then continue scanning pages 21-85. Can import scans of pages from other file sources. So, this app gets 5 stars in my book for helping me with this. I already have a difficult time concentrating having add that this app makes it so much easier for $8 or $8.99 whatever it was - one time payment and not making me pay $50-$100 per yr like these other apps do that do not include important features that some of us really need.
