2/5Is starting to look better!
EDIT!!!!! Hahahaha. I must retract from my previews review… it just failed and crashed the app on my Mac. LOL. Please fix 🥹😅 First I must say that of all the years I’ve been using the app, there was just a small period of time where it failed… A lot! But with that out of the way, I must say that on the last 3 years, it’s been working pretty good. Today, I’m at a party and the app updated with me not noticing. I just connected it and I must say; it is actually working very well and is looking a lot better. Very responsive, no lag and can be used as a virtual controller in certain easy gigs. Thank You Virtual DJ for finally updating the app. It was long due, but thank you!

1/5Crashes and/or doesn’t find laptop
I’ve been using this remote control app with the main VDJ software on my MacBook for many, many years. It’s always worked really well, provided both my phone & laptop are on the same network. BUT, something screwy happened with app and the latest VDJ build. The app and main VDJ software simply can’t find each other anymore. If they do find each other (and it’s pretty rare), the app either crashes immediately or it’s showing inaccurate information about what’s loaded on my decks. Please get this issue fixed!!! It worked beautifully before, but now it’s completely useless!!

I tested out all the features while connected to each of my laptops. You can literally see and respond to song requests, search on Deezer or your library, start and stop automix. Move songs on the playlist. You can even turn down the music too or turn up the music. It would be perfect for you for if you’re sitting at dinner at a wedding and you wanted to check on your list to make sure the music isn’t going to stop.

1/5Don’t buy it! Doesn’t sync, freeze my computer!
I paid $10 and it doesn’t sync and freezes my computer. It’s a shame because I wanted to be able to change things from afar just in case I have to leave the dj booth but it doesn’t absolutely nothing. Look at the reviews, they clearly have a bunch of people paid to claim it works but the stars they get and the amount of downloads and reviews given do not match. Save your money, the program itself is buggy right now too!

It synchronizes with VirtualDJ and has a host of skins that are available for various different functions. Easily downloaded and changed from within VirtualDJ itself. Great control can leave the booth and control just about anything. I definitely recommend reading the section in the manual first.
