1. 4/5this is a good little app, but I have a couple questions and it won’t even save the video

   Now this app is really good, it’s really cool to use. But you have a couple of bugs in the system. First of all I don’t know how to save the video. When I tap done it doesn’t actually save so I’m really unsure on how to actually save the full project. And also something else that I’ve noticed, when I was using it is that it will let you use a feature, like I clicked on the erase button and I was able to use it. And then like 5 to 6 minutes later, I try to click it again and it gives me this icon that says $.99. And it’s done that countless times where it has allowed me to use something, except maybe like the border and the chrome key and the stickers. Which were all purchased and never let me! So those are the bugs that I was wondering about but other than that I feel like the app is pretty good though I do feel that I had a couple suggestions for features, like maybe adding some music or sound effects, but other than that I really do like the app. And I would love to be able to use it but I just want to know do you guys not offer a free version?

2. 5/5My own studio...

   This really is like having my own little studio in the palm of my hands. Another way to put it is I feel like I have super powers to make my photos and videos do things I never thought possible. My only complaint so far is not realizing that one must save the progress after each edit. In fact, my first attempt at making a collage was zapped away in the blink of an eye, lost forever. So, as long as one remembers to save, everything is fine, just know that this app will crash every now and then, no different than any of the others. Nevertheless, this app is extremely powerful, even for us novice peons that only do this sort of thing for family memories or to "doodle".

3. 5/5The Closest to Perfect I Have Seen

   This has to be the easiest to use video editing tool available, and your changes are saved to its temporary work buffer fast! You don't actually save the file until all of your editing is completed. It has a well equipped toolbox. I have edited several videos and there are tools galore I haven't yet touched. I give it five stars and a recommendation to get it.

4. 2/5I would NOT recommend...

   I have used this app fairly extensively, and to be honest, I think its simplicity and ease of use, had me in denial of the fact that this app's video rendering methods, are quite literally among the worst I may have ever experienced. I have many examples of why I came to this conclusion, but I'll spare you the details by only explaining the final straw leading me to delete the app and leave this review. I had an mp4 of high resolution. It was 2:00 in length, and the file size was 60mb. Given the space and cellular data my phone is restricted to, I used this app to compress it from 3400kbps to 2600kbps, lowering the file size considerably without loosing much noticeable amount of quality or frame rate (to about 34mb file size). So far so good. I then opened the smaller video, and simply added an additional audio channel layer, and inserted a 2 minute clip of an mp3 format song. The mp3 file size was 8mb, but only 3mb when trimmed to 2 minutes length. I didnt adjust anything else, no fade effects or anything else. I re-exported it, and it gave me an mp4 video, 2 minutes long, with that added background song, and it was 179mb.... 🤦‍♂️ like, what? HOW? Explain how that happens, other than this app being amateur, and reliant on highly unoptimized video rendering libraries. Likely "out-of-the-box" open source swift libraries, with zero fine tuning by the developers, and incredibly limited customization options for the user to access in terms of how the final product renders. I don't need an app on my iphone to be perfect, but this little bug is incredibly aggravating. Weak sauce, im sorry, but despite the bargain, this is hardly even worthy of being freemium status. I have better results using imovie for my quick video edits.

5. 3/5Possibly not working correctly

   Edit - never mind. I see on the “in app purchases” list that add text is an extra cost, which is why it was not working. I think that is new, i feel like I had used this feature previously. Guess i will delete since not sure anymore if the price is worth it since every feature is an extra cost... Not sure if it is just me, but I can’t make any modifications with this app anymore. It’s been a while since I used it so maybe things have changed, but when i try to add text, there is no way to save it. The checkmark on the top right has a “lock” over it and when i click it, it just goes to the store and wants me to buy new features. If i click on the < arrow top left after adding text, it just takes me back after undoing anything i did. It was cool when it worked but if this isn’t a bug that’ll get fixed i will probably delete this. I can’t remember if I paid for it initially though, so i am hesitant.
