1. 4/5Need to be able to add birds AI misses

   Just got my first camera feeder 3 days ago and today has been the first crazy day of hummingbirds visiting. I’ve noticed it misses a lot of the birds, and hummingbird would be the most difficult. But it usually doesn’t recognize there’s a bird at all even for some finches and birds in the background at other closeby feeders. So at least adding the ability to add that info in myself would be great. Would also be nice to see adding male/female. Or even IDing the same distinctive bird like the RB Grosbeaks with different patterns. Also I already captured a bear attacking the feeder for sunflower seeds and it held up well. Not app related but it did let me see that massive goofball stealing the birds food! 😂

2. 1/5Huge downgrade

   Half the time it doesn’t work as you can’t even get into the camera. On the chance you do it’s blown up so huge it cuts a majority of the image off so you have to reduce the size to fully see the view. You can’t access past images without getting into the camera live and then going to the history. New app also took away the images of the birdhouse type which was super helpful when you have multiple feeders, it’s nice to reference the style or shape for quicker access. Finding image quality to be poor as well, despite nothing changing in the settings or the camera itself the app is not showing leasing the camera quality. Still have a significant issue with it being correct on the battery percentage, which was a big thing in the last app that never seem to get fixed. It still shows a camera may be not charging when it is or saying it’s dead when it’s not, so that bug has continued to this app now too. Things overall are just not as easy to access like they said it would be and I’m pretty tech savvy. As per usual a company takes a pretty decent app and created a new one to only make it way worse. I don’t know why companies don’t focus on fixing the current app and the issues with the current one instead of making a new one and then making that five times worse than it was. I used to turn to this app and hook up other birdfeeders to it, and instead of using the apps that were originated to go with them because this one was way better but now those other apps are out shining.

3. 1/5Cannot open app

   I am so frustrated that ever since they changed apps I have not been able to see my birds. It’s been various issues. First the app wouldn’t connect to my feeder. Now after several other issues, the app now will not let me log in. I get a message that my session expired and to log in again - but I’ve not been able to log in just repeats the same message. I have written several times to customer support, deleted and reinstalled, turned off and on my phone among other attempts to solve the issues. Nothing works and support just keeps saying uninstall and reinstall. How many times do I have to say I’ve already since this too many times and it still isn’t working. This is an expensive item that I couldn’t wait to have for a very long time before finally making the purchase and while everything was great before they changed apps, it is now a great frustration. I do NOT recommend this at this time.

4. 4/5It has a few new problems now…

   First of all the bird feed stuff confuses me so much it is just this huge image that takes up almost all of my screen and I don’t know how to go to the calendar image thing without tapping “bird feeder detect motion”notification. Also the live screen’s full screen can be better, the option for alarms and etc take a bit too much space, which reminds me that the squirrel alarm noise does not help at all whenever a squirrel (somehow😒) gets on the bird feeder I press the alarm and the squirrel doesn't even flinch. I love the new look though it no longer looks like a boring utility app!

5. 3/5Needs ability to trigger alarm for squirrels

   I enjoy this app.. I think it does a pretty good job. However, the inability to have the alarm automatically set off ONLY when it’s a squirrel/pet detected is pretty wild. It seems to only automatically trigger on ANY motion detection, or manually. I can’t watch for squirrels all day, and I certainly don’t want the alarm scaring birds every time they land on it. Please add this ability and I will gladly update my review. Also, my second user doesn’t seem to have the same features as I the admin user. I pay for the subscription so I think my spouse should have the same capabilities as the admin user
