   I’ve been using memorization apps for many years now, and I have officially switched to Versify. Versify team, you have it right! Minimal, accessible, and helpful UI. The modes of memorization are on point and similar to others, but the new speech recognition is an awesome addition. Love it. Eagerly awaiting accounts, that I may use it across all my devices. Praise God for this app, and I also appreciate how you have put a “What is the gospel?” section in the settings. Keep up the great work — just please, a request: If at all possible, *please do not go to a subscription model. I will be more than happy to pay a one time fee and even a reasonable one, if that’s what you may have to do (as a worker is worth their wages), but the saturation of subscriptions is becoming ridiculous in the app stores. I am extremely grateful that this app is free and huge thanks to you all for your hard work and care here. If you can keep it free, please do — it will likely end up in the hands of more people out there and in these times, we need more believers drinking deeply from the well of memorization, and those who don’t know the Lord — coming upon accessible apps like this. 2. 5/5A Fantastic Memorization Tool

   Thank you so much for making this app! I have been able to memorize more of the Bible than I ever thought possible in such a short amount of time. I love the different ways you can go through whatever section you are trying to learn—I particularly love the type the letter to reveal the word, very fast and efficient, and I use it a lot. One little nitpick I have to improve it would be nice to have an option to adjust the number of mistakes you can make before you fail, particularly to make it more sensitive. I feel like it tolerates too many mistakes and will let you pass the test and get 100 before you really know it super duper well. This is not a huge issue since I can just exit and restart but it would be an improvement in my opinion. This app is truly amazing, I downloaded it about a week ago and I am so motivated to just keep memorizing scripture passages and it is so rewarding to actually be making the progress that I am. Thank you again so so much this is such a wonderful app everyone reading this download and use it, you will be blessed!

3. 5/5I am finally memorizing Scripture!

   I have tried for years to consistently memorize Scripture. I would get started but then forget to review or would misplace my (paper) flashcards. When I would get re-motivated I would be frustrated that I had to start all over again. But now I have all the verses/passages in one place. The folders allow me to organize them exactly how I need them. I loosely follow the Leitner system so I have folders for the verses I'm currently learning and practicing daily and other folders for the verses I have memorized and review less frequently. I can also organize them topically. Also, as I come across a verse in my daily reading that I want to memorize in the future, I simply place it in a "to be learned" folder. I don't have to rely on my memory (which is a bit ironic). The little red dots catch my attention if there is a verse I've missed for while (typically because I forgot to put it in a review folder after I memorized it). No verses fall through the cracks! I love the flash card option and the option to filter the verses by folder. It's a great way to quickly review the previously memorized verses. My only suggestion is that I wish there was a way in the flash card option to flag a verse so I could mark an verses that needed extra review. This is a fantastic app! It's simple to use, no frustrating learning curve: just download, enter your verses, and start memorizing. Thanks so much!

4. 4/5Useful for Awana

   This app is very useful as a tool in Awana (Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed) scripture memorization. My children use it, and since becoming a leader/teacher in Awana, I use it, too. I gave it 4/5 stars because of one small improvement I see possible: of the translations available, the NIV is a bit confusing. In my program, we use the 1984 version. But Versify (and other Bible apps) use the 2011 NIV. I will not comment on the controversy surrounding the NIV updates. But in a practical sense, words are different and that can be confusing for children. For example, we are working on Romans 10:17 and the phrase “word of Christ” is “word about Christ”. It would be nice if apps like Versify could offer the different versions of the NIV. Maybe that’s really an issue with Zondervan, though. Overall, though, we are not so nit-picky as to use only one translation. If our youth memorize a verse from a different translation, that is ok. They are still writing the word of God in their hearts. Versify is a good tool to assist them and I would recommend it.

5. 5/5This Has Made Memorizing Scripture Much Easier For Me

   This app seriously so impressive. Memorizing scripture used to be so unmotivating to do, (sometimes still is) just due to the paper-pencil method I used to use that was effective but tedious, and sometimes long winded. This app however, with twice the portablility and same level of effectiveness through it's different challenges and ways to memorize changed the game for me. The ease of use gives me so much more motivation to memorize scripture and write God's Word on my heart and mind. If you see the value in memorizing scripture to bolster your faith and encourage others inside and out of the body of Christ, then get this app. It's always worth a trying for yourself. TL;DR Memorizing scripture is so important for us in the Body of Christ to do to bolster our faith and encourage others, but sometimes it's tedious and long winded, but this app makes it way easier to do it, and is worth installing if you see the value in it.
