1/5Failed transaction but no reversal
V bank is never to be trusted and i repeat, never to be trusted with your funds. Couple of months ago I lost a very tiny amount to them which I let go after so many calls and mails to the helpdesk. Just 5days ago a transaction worth of 20,000 Naira was made from my vfd to moniepoint and after so much effort to get my funds reversed but to no avail. They kept sending mails that the issue has been resolved and no refund was made. I contacted moniepoint and they immediately sent me a proof of failed transaction which i then emailed to vfd. Ever since they stopped responding to my mails and my calls were unattended to. Saving with VFD is at your risk as the bank is most likely to get liquidated because of so many reports to CBN based in theft.

5/5Ever since, Try it and see yourself
Ever since I’ve been banking with VFD, it has just been good. Their services and all, I live outside Nigeria even people out here signed up for it cos I can never stop talking about the bank, it doesn’t make me feel I’m not close to them. Not scared my money can hang. Ignore the bad review, everyone with their own perspective. Another man’s problem won’t be your problem. Big prayer for y’all reading this.

This bank is so irresponsible and irritating I think this bank should be shut down because they do not have the criteria to be a called a bank neither you operated at all. I requested for a loan of 100,000 based on over draft facilities they requested for something document in wish I provided with immediate effect and after that they got it delayed for over two weeks now today makes it 3rd week they have to bring up another story I regret banking with you Vbank

5/5WORST MICROFINANCE BANK
VFD is now lowkey the worst Microfinance bank in Nigeria now. Everytime I try to send money it’ll say account number does not exist. I even updated the app. The same thing. If I try to open my beneficiaries it takes forever to show up. Very very very annoying. I’m removing all my funds and closing the account forever.

5/5VFD MFB Digital Bank App
The VFD Bank App is a welcome improvement to hassle free account set up using BVN validation and any government/national ID as verification. Using it, account opening is seamless and takes you less than 5 minutes. Imagine marrying the functionality of a Bank with the look and feel of a big tech company.... that is just what the VFD App does. It indeed keeps its promise of creating a better payment experience for customers with its Bill payment, Mobile Top Up feature, cashless withdrawal , Transfers etc. I believe it’s unique selling point is the Performance Management Tool built into the app in form of Target Savings and Fixed Deposit account which helps customer set budgeting targets and save money. It solves part of the pain points customers face when banking with its competitors which is convenience and ease. There is however, room for improvement in terms of the user journey through the app: such as, navigating the search functionality not to only view transactions but other features in the app, also masking the balance of a user for privacy and justifying the need of a sign in feature every time a user logs in - given the fact that a secure pin is required to validate any transaction to be carried out by a user. Improvement in the App Design (UI/UX) and Engagement (Lifestyle Products) will ensure the sustainability of the App. Shout out to the team that brought this together, you have exposed the beauty in Banking as a service.
