  1. 5/5Confused…but intrigued

I love all the metaphysical/mystical things in the universe that I can’t explain or understand, and I love investigating those things to gain understanding. That’s why I chose to get this app. I’m a bit confused as to what exactly it’s (in theory) doing, and also confused as to what happens if you make the opposite choice (is it a theoretical third universe?) when you’re given an answer. In any case, it’s a well done app, I just wish when using it there was more information given during the process rather than having to read about it in the provided “handbook” of sorts. I wish that the process was explained, just briefly, during the act of making each choice. Like perhaps when you tap on the two options afterwards, you could choose which one you actually did. Then it could tell you what, in theory, was caused when it comes to splitting universes. I don’t think I’ve explained myself well at all😅 But it’s a great app! It truly is. If you’re smarter than me I’m sure you won’t be confused in the slightest😅

  2. 5/5Great Science Tool for Kids (and adults)

Great concept and execution. I was glad to see reviews about connectivity issues - which only shows that the app is really doing what it says it is - connecting to a specialized device that is using the principles of quantum mechanics and the “double slit experiment” to produce a random result - or more accurately - to collapse a super position of all possible results. The reviews that state “just use a locally generated random result” are entirely missing the point of the app! It is silly? YES. Is it real? The mind boggling answer is - according to the principles of quantum mechanics and a large number of leading scientists: YES. I have a few suggestions for the developer: 1) Add more content about the principal behind the “many worlds” theorem such as a description of the double slit experiment and links to relevant videos. I found out about the app from the Sean Carroll’s lecture on the Many World’s theorem - everyone that uses this app should watch that video. 2) Make the above content front and center so that people who think this is just an overpriced coin flip app realize there’s MUCH more to it. Maybe a big “how does this work” link below the split button. 3) Add data about the aggregate amount of universes created across all users. 4) Allow users to opt into sharing their choices - and then show a live stream of choices and perhaps a top 10 most common or a word cloud. This might need to be curated or filtered for bad words, etc Just some ideas. Kudos for the awesome idea to take a quantum crypto device and use it to bring quantum mechanics to the masses.

  3. 4/5Looks great! Perhaps, more user-engagement? Overall good!

I like the easily guided user- experience of the app. The design as well! Would be even more informative if the user can edit and log their own decision after the proposed suggestion from the app. To log, what was proposed and see if the user did do what the Many Worlds theory suggests, or they are living in a different universe. -- a quick tap to change the decision of your "path" after the action has taken place ex. Change From 'take a chance' to 'play it safe' as you did stay on the sofa and didn't clean the apartment. I believe the manual part of that journey might help various people keep track of their thoughts and their suppressed needs/wants in life. Would help in understanding our own habits and manifestations, common paths and profiles, something like a metaperception of yourself. Thanks! Looks great!

  4. 5/5As one of my childhood heroes would say, “Fascinating”

I have a simple request to allow the user, preferably me. To turn certain effects on or off. I personally like the sound effects, but the shaking and flash screen I would turn off. I would like to say I really like the look of the app overall. Now I really don’t know, nor do I care how the split universe me feels about it. Because I bought the app ! Split Universe Me, hence fourth to be known as SUM. When SUM starts sending me boat loads of cash through the trans dimensional ATM network SUM will then have a say here in my dimension. Not much, but some. You see what I did there ?

  5. 4/5Serious bug, be careful

It’s a good app but you have to be careful of a very serious bug. I had my cat in a box and I was using the app to ask whether I should feed it or not, and I lost my Internet connection in the middle of the process. And all of a sudden, there were two of my cat in the box. Now that’s an extra cat to feed, twice as many vet bills, etc. This whole thing is a nightmare. Minus one star. Thank god this didn’t happen when I had my wife in the box. Otherwise, though, it’s a pretty good app. EDIT: Update, a few days later- no worries on the cats. I fed one cat pasta, and the other antipasto, and the situation worked itself out.
