"body": "It seems to be at adjusting settings, however the map page needs massive improvements to be anywhere near functional. Also, the app does have an option to prevent screen lock so it is only useful for a minute or so when driving. Hopefully this is just the start with significant improvements on the way.",

"body": "Just bought a R8W, and received it within 24 hours. Fantastic shipping. Did the install with my existing power hook up and everything everything went flawlessly. Connecting from the app to the right out detector was super simple with the instructions provided. Check to make sure it was on the latest firmware, which was super easy. Connected it to Wi-Fi, which took 15 seconds. Just make sure when you’re connecting to Wi-Fi you join the Wi-Fi on your phone that you want the radar detector to join so it easily picks out the SSID. Overall user experience has been great. Looking forward to using my new Uniden.",

"body": "App allows you to easily customize your detector (I’m using the R8). It also allows you to run the detector “dark”, with the display off, for stealth as all display elements are replicated in the app (I look at my phone instead of the detector to see the alerts). It also lets you know if there are any software updates to install.",

"title": "Embarrassing for Uniden",
"body": "I can’t believe that this is the best that Uniden can do. I don’t even know why in the world you would ever even want this ridiculous attempt at making an app. I don’t understand its purpose, unless you hate changing its settings on the device and on a computer. Forces me to pay 10 bux for the R4 companion. I have an r4 and r8. They detect really well (or at least I hope the r4 does, seeing this app has shaken my confidence in the company. This is an embarrassment!",
